After a great initial car buying experience, things quickly went downhill once the final paperwork was sent in the mail. Now, they claim they can't do anything about it because it would be a refinance and they can't refinance cars. They completely disregarded the contract which we both signed. Absolutely disgraceful! Why even make customers sign contracts if you aren't going to honor them? I signed a contract that listed a loan provider I already have accounts with and a long standing relationship with. Why on Earth would Smail decide to ignore the contract and change banks without *at least* contacting me? This was NOT your decision to make. Now I'm stuck with a loan with a provider I don't want - and I haven't been able to refinance it due to the car being so new & lack of KBB resale data. Ridiculous! More

We have purchased quite a few cars and it is not something we look forward to at all but.....our experience with Steve at Smail Mazda was wonderful. We live about an hour and 20 mins away from Smai something we look forward to at all but.....our experience with Steve at Smail Mazda was wonderful. We live about an hour and 20 mins away from Smail Mazda and I called there to the sales dept and got Steve. I told him what I wanted and where I needed to be price wise and in about 15 mins I had a deal. He had the car I asked for PDI'd (not sure those are the corrected initials) and also on our way over there I called about another model and color and he had that one ready for us to look at as well. Both were sitting right out front shining! He told us the differences between each model and show us the features. He then took us for a test drive on all different types of roads, bumpy, coarse, hills, and highways. We asked about other colors and he showed us them and we ended up choosing a different color than we had planned but Steve had no problem with that and got it PDI'd and detailed pretty much by the time we were done with all the paperwork and financing. He then took us out again and went over all the features and helped us set up my phone with the Bluetooth system in the car. He was very nice, informative, thorough and detailed with all aspects of the purchase of our new Mazda. Plus what was very nice was that he, himself, owns the same model! Makes you at ease to know some salesman isn't trying to sell you something he would never buy. So we would be more than happy to recommend Smail and Steve to all of our family and friends; and to ourselves when we buy our next new vehicle!!!! Thanks Steve! More
