Smail Experience "well worth a drive" In mid July, I had the oppurtunity to see a 2014 Mazda 3 ... I was immediately amazed at the redesign by Mazda and the fuel efficiency. I live in Al In mid July, I had the oppurtunity to see a 2014 Mazda 3 ... I was immediately amazed at the redesign by Mazda and the fuel efficiency. I live in Allegheny county and went to my "area" Mazda Dealer in Irwin, after finding a vehicle I liked online. Upon my arrival, I was met by a saleman, who took me for a test drive. During my test drive, I made the saleman aware of my intent to trade two vehicles. I could tell immediately, he was concerned about my trade-in value vs. my pay-off's. We arrived back at the dealer and with in 30 mins, I basically pushed out the door, with a "it's late and we will get back to you tomorrow on the numbers" .... The following day, I got a call 10 mins after the dealer was scheduled to close informing me, no deal could be made based on "what I was looking for in my trade-ins" and the banks weren't willing to give me the rate I wanted or the payment I requested staying with in. I was kind of shocked at the interaction. At 36 yrs old, I have purchased 8 new vehicles and have been gainfully employed as government employee for 14 years. I at least expected a call back saying "we can't get you into that car, but how bout a ....". A week passed, and after doing some reasearch I learned that the initial dealer did not even call more than one lending institution to vet out my loan needs. I figured I would give my new car buying a second shot and drive another 20 miles to Smail in Greensburg. From the first email to their online sales team , it was "what can I do for you? ... how can I help?" I was put into contact with Bill Cline. He explained my needs and he told me to get the trades in as soon as I could, and we could go from there. I brought the cars in one night at a time, and both nights were pretty close to closing. Not only did I not end up sitting in the dark, being rushed out the door, they explained over and over (including the Sales Manager Joe) closing time gives our customers a window, but once you're here we stay. By the end of day 2 I was concerned I had hit a wall again with my trade value vs. my loan needs: however, once again Bill and the Smail Team came through. About 30 mins after closing time on Friday the 25th, the were detailing my New Mazda 3 and Bill was patiently explaining every option the vehicle had before sending me off in my new car. I can honestly say, even though Greensburg was a hike for me, it was WELL WORTH THE DRIVE. Bill and the Smail Team explained to me every step of the car buying experience regarding my trades and options, even if, they couldn't get me into the car I originally looked at. At no time, was it "SORRY, we can't help you", like my incredibly miserable experience just 7 days prior. Not only do I love my new car, but I also got into it for $30 less per month than I asked Bill when we first talked monthly payments, and the finance rate was fair as well (considering the negative equity, I presented in trades). I can assure you, I will be back for my next Mazda at Smail. Great work Bill Cline and team .... More

My Mazda experience. My initial contact with the Mazda dealership was good. I wasn't approached by a sales person immediately which gave me a chance to look at the vehicle My initial contact with the Mazda dealership was good. I wasn't approached by a sales person immediately which gave me a chance to look at the vehicles I was interested in leasing. Once I was approached, the sales person was friendly and not pushy which I liked and asked if I wanted to know anything more about the vehicles I was viewing. I was given the option of test driving a vehicle but I didn't have the time. I returned on a later date when I had the time but was turned away by the person who came out to " help" me. He said I couldn't take a test drive because I was working with another consultant so he wasn't allowed to assist me. Fortunately, I never saw him again and got an apology from the dealership about the incident. Once I began working with Keith Rosky, my experience was consistently positive. He was very friendly and did everything he could to encourage me to lease a Mazda CX5 and it worked, after a lot of indecision by me about whether I wanted a Nissan Rogue or the Mazda CX5. His patience and persistence ended with both of us being happy. After my lease ends, I'll definitely consider getting another Mazda vehicle again. More

Great Sales Experience Bill Cline was great to work with. We e-mailed for a price of a vehicle and received a response from Bill within an hour. When we arrived at the dealership, Bill had the car waiting. This was to be my wife's car, and once Bill knew this, he directed all of the questions and answers to my wife, which was a smart move on his part. In addition to the Smail discount off of the purchase price, we were quoted $3,500.00 in rebates. When Bill learned we were trading in a CX-7, he stated that was another $1,000.00 rebate. The CX-9 had all of the features we were looking for except for a remote starter. When Bill went to talk with the Sales Manager, he returned with another $500.00 rebate. $5,000.00 in rebates is hard to walk away from. After a couple of minutes of negotiating, we had a new car with a remote starter. The perfect car. I would recommend Bill Cline to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. More

Bill Cline is an asset for your dealership. I saw commercial for Mazda 6 on TV. I usually am not interested in cars. I liked it. I emailed Mazda immediately and got a response from Bill right away. I got busy with life and work and didn't think about it again but Bill followed up with me. I decided to stop in and check it out. I met him for an evening appt after work. He immediately took me to the car, pulled it out, and showed me all the features that it offered. He then took me for a test drive. Very nice, very informative, knows his stuff. We were negotiating a sale price but I couldn't commit. I had a Honda with only 80,000 miles on it. I didn't need the car, I wanted it. I was at point where I had a low mileage Honda with no car payment. Not easy to give that up. He then approached me with a lease option. I had never done that before. He explained to me how it worked and how it could work to my advantage. I jumped on it and I have been loving my Mazda 6 ever since. I can tell you if it wasn't for Bill, I would not have taken that car. You owe the sale to him, and so do I. I am very glad he happened to be the person my original email was routed to. Thanks to both Bill, and to Smail Dealerships. This is my 6th car I have purchased from Smail Dealerships. Easily my best experience yet. More
