Switching to my first Honda, you must see Kim Johnson Kim is awesome! She is quick and thorough to response to any questions you have about the car or the car buying experience. I am a very difficult and particular person to work with, and I like what I like. I gave her a list of things I wanted and she told me what Honda could do for me. She kept me updated with the build schedule of my car, and was quick to let me know of any changes. It was exactly what she said, and actually came in early. She set up the car for me, with my preferences, covered the features, and went on a test drive with us explaining other options. I will go back to Kim for my next purchase, and would recommend her to anyone. We looked at 9 other dealers in the area, and Kim made Smail Honda the choice for us. If I were you, I would wait in line to get Kim, she is by far the best salesperson I have worked with in years. She even checked in days later to see how thing were going. More

Crazy low trade offer I must have had stupid written on my forehead. I was offered 40% of what another dealership offered me for my trade in. Bait & Switch? / No Response from Customer Relation I will start off by saying that I do love my new Honda Accord. I also would like to say that I have no issues at all with my salesman, Joshua Petika. I will start off by saying that I do love my new Honda Accord. I also would like to say that I have no issues at all with my salesman, Joshua Petika. If you would choose Smail I would highly recommend Joshua because he did listen to what I requested, and he made it a point to make my experience as pleasant as possible. When I got there, we told Joshua what we were looking for and I found an Accord that I liked. Once we negotiated and reached a price, we shook hands and he told me that he would get my paperwork to a finance manager when one became available. This was at the end of a day on a Saturday, and Smail did appear to be rather busy. So we went and sat down and as time passed, we did walk around, have some coffee, etc. It definitely was the longest I ever had to wait for paperwork, but I understood that it was the end of the month and we appeared to be the last deal that had gotten in. During the wait, Joshua did come and check on us a few times and apologized for the wait. However after about an hour, the finance manager came out and said that he was now having trouble getting us financing. He asked if I was "flexible" with the amount that I had to pay each month. I told him that if I had to pay more than the amount that Joshua and I had agreed to, that I was walking - I also made it very clear that I would not be happy if I had waited at the dealership all this time for nothing. The finance manager went back into his office. Joshua came up to me afterwards and said that he heard the conversation and stated that he would make sure that we would get the deal that we agreed upon. After about 30 more minutes we finally got to go back to the finance manager's office. He tells me that our rate is going to be a dollar more a month. Granted this is only a dollar more than the agreed amount, but it still upset me because I felt that the rate should not be changing after we agreed on a price. The Finance Manager then told me that we "did NOT have a deal at that point" and I argued back that we did.. I explained that I would not appreciate any type of bait and switch and that I know he ran our credit because we filled out the credit release before we came to that price. What really upset me the most was just that despite having to wait an extraordinary amount of time and charging me a measly dollar more a month than was supposed to be charged is the general unapologetic nature of the manager himself. Unfortunately I do not have his name, and he is not listed on the website. Once everything was signed, Joshua escorted us to the car. I thanked him and told him that his service was great, but I will never deal with that finance manager again. A few days later, I received an email from a "Customer Relations Specialist" named Tina Callen. I sent her an email detailing my experience, and I did not receive so much as a reply. I had even called her office to see if she did receive my email and received no response there as well. In closing, I am happy with a lot of my experience. The amount I received for my trade in, the salesman, the amenities available were all top notch. The wait time was longer than what was reasonable but I accepted that. However I think it is absolutely absurd for me to be asked if I was willing to spend extra money after a deal was made AND after an hour wait. Smail also has done NOTHING to show me that their customer service would care about you after the sale. The Honda that I got before this was leased at Baierl, and I will be back there for my next one. Note: I did not put my salesman's name under the employees worked with because I think it is unfair to assign him to the 2 star rating. More

Their facility is very nice, and their staff was extremely helpful. In a world where looking for a car can be a real headache, these guys made it a lot easier. I would highly recommend shopping here for a new or used car. More
