First of all i would like to thanks Sloane Toyota to honor 5th (Final) complementary service though my car was over 25K miles. But i think Assistant service manger Dennis Hoffman did not like that at al honor 5th (Final) complementary service though my car was over 25K miles. But i think Assistant service manger Dennis Hoffman did not like that at all...!!!! I was there on Saturday 01/12/2013 to get my 2011 Rav 4 serviced. I was recommended to get "Air went cleaning service" done worth of 69$. I refused it and get it done next time. He seemed very unhappy that i refused, specially when i was getting free service even though i was over 25K miles. (He would have refused to not honor that at first place when i made service appointment. When i made service appointment at Sloane Toyota, i clearly mentioned that i have crossed 25K miles.) I asked him a favour to help me set up auto doors lock. I was trying to program door locks, so when you shift gear from park to drive or it goes beyond certain speed all 4 doors locks automatically. His initial suggestion was to contact sales representative. (Does it make sense to talk to sales when u have Service Assistant Manager????) I told him it should be very quick fix as most basic sedan cars has it. Later he offer to fix it by paying 55$/Hour to technician and program it. I think it is not that big of deal to program automatic car locks. If i have knew where to find it in car manual, i could have done it by myself without asking him. I personally feel he was not particularly happy with me since i was getting FREE SERVICE. I would more than happy if he would have said that he doesn't know how to fix it or he doesn't have enough knowledge. I wanted to bring that to your attention and get it resolved. I would never want to get any service done at Sloane Toyoya anymore since i do not think it will be handle by right person. I am not even sure if my free service was actually performed. (I did not get my car washed after service either.) I am still trying to find right contacts to escalate this issue since i do not appreciate bad customer service experience. Feel free to reach me if you have any questions. More
This is a tough one for me. I bought my last two cars (both Camrys) from Sloane, and I was fully intending to buy Camry #3 here as well. This time I bought a Hyundai instead. Why? The car I wanted wasn (both Camrys) from Sloane, and I was fully intending to buy Camry #3 here as well. This time I bought a Hyundai instead. Why? The car I wanted wasn't on the lot, and my sales guy, Bill-S, didn't seem too much in the mood to find me a Camry with the trim I wanted unless I would commit to a price and a deal. I told him I would only talk price with him if he actually had a car to sell me that I wanted to buy. We went back and forth and I left - he didn't tell me that he actually had a car that I wanted, but agreed to a price I threw out there that I knew was under published invoice. This felt bad. Perhaps it would have turned out differently if I wanted to buy a car that was on Sloane's lot at that moment. I went over to Carousel Hyundai and spoke with Mike-W and did much better. I had a much easier time buying the previous cars from Sloane, and working with the service department over the years was easy as well. Sloane missed out on the opportunity this time, but so far I am liking the Hyundai. Camrys have been great cars for me, and this rating only reflects this last sales experience. More
On 12/27/2012 my family and myself went to Sloane of Devon in hopes of buying a new 2012 Toyota Rav4. We had already shopped around and had multiple quotes in hand. Having spoken to the sales associate Devon in hopes of buying a new 2012 Toyota Rav4. We had already shopped around and had multiple quotes in hand. Having spoken to the sales associate on the phone previously he had the lowest quote of any of the dealers advertised so we went in with the hopes of purchasing the car the same day. After we discussed the previous quotes i had the sales associate agreed with a price if we would purchase the car right then and there. I agreed to the price, the associate and I shook hands he went to draw up the papers came back and said his manager would not honor the price. He then said he could only do 300$ higher than our agreed upon price. I calmly said i didn't appreciate the way he backed out on our verbal agreement and i thought that was not the way you should do business. I then told him i needed to speak to my dad as the car was for him and i would come back later to sign. I called about 2 hours later asked if we were still okay with our previous deal he agreed and said to come in. I came in he drew up the papers we signed and we agreed to 300$ increased price. My father also left work to come in and sign the papers as we were getting this car for him. After signing the papers the associate took the papers to his manager (Ed Toto). The manger Ed Toto then came out and told my father who had just left work that he would not be able to honor the deal but had to increase price again. This time I was furious and couldn't believe the underhandedness of this dealer. He said that he was going to increase the price because he had another person interested and that he didn't think we had any other dealerships to go to. We argued that the associate had twice agreed to prices and then you withdrew them. After some time he went back and supposedly called the owner at home, who agreed to our original price. By this time we knew better then to buy from someone who would not stand by their own word twice, it wasn't worth the fear of never trusting what else they might try and get away with. Overall I would never ever recommend this dealership to anyone, I've purchased two cars from Toyota previously we have been Toyota family but we are currently rethinking that, due to our dealings at Toyota Sloane of Devon More

As an out of state buyer (coming from NY) I was extremely pleased with the staff at Sloane Toyota. They made my vehicle purchase extremely smooth and easy. I originally contacted the dealership about a car pleased with the staff at Sloane Toyota. They made my vehicle purchase extremely smooth and easy. I originally contacted the dealership about a car I was interested in at their dealership that I saw on-line. Having visited several dealerships local to me, I knew what I needed for my trade-in, and what sales price I was looking for in a used car. After talking to Wlfredo via email, he put me in contact with a sales manager Ed Toto. Ed was able to assure me that a deal would be gotten and that my 2.5 hour trip would be worth it. When I arrived at the dealership, Rick greeted me right away, and got the ball rolling to get the deal done. While the particulars were being worked out, I got to know Rick better and was overly impressed with what a genuine car guy Rick is, and was comfortable with his down-to-earth attitude. After Ed made sure everything was going to work out, I was quickly on my way home again. Both Ed and Rick made sure that my long trip was worth every minute of it. Even though there are dozens upon dozens of Toyota dealers between my home on Long Island and their's in Devon, PA, I would definitely use them again! More

Buying a new Toyota became a relatively easy, pleasant process. The salesperson was well-informed about the vehicles, and provided lots of information, allowed us to drive a couple of cars. There was no p process. The salesperson was well-informed about the vehicles, and provided lots of information, allowed us to drive a couple of cars. There was no pressure to buy any particular vehicle; the experience was relaxed and helpful. It helped that I have purchased other Toyotas in the past, and was already sold on the quality of the car; but nonetheless, the sales experience could not have been improved. More
