Excellent After a couple of days of haggling (over <$400) with a Toyota dealership down the road, I was at my whits end with the unnamed dealer unwilling to com After a couple of days of haggling (over <$400) with a Toyota dealership down the road, I was at my whits end with the unnamed dealer unwilling to compromise at all. I dug my heels in and refused to be the only one to compromise. Negotiations ended at 3:30 on Saturday. I called Sloane and asked if they had my model and trim (Highlander XLE) on the lot (other dealer didn't, I was negotiating on a car that I couldn't even look at) and Sloane had one in my color. I knew they closed at 5 and bee-lined it there. I walked in and talked to Frank and told him what I had been through the past 24 hours. I told Frank what I was willing to pay and what I wanted for my trade in and if they could do it I would put a deposit down that day and be back Monday to finalize and if not, I appreciated their time. 15 minutes after looking at my trade and talking to the managers, they accepted. No haggling with anything. I wasn't even prepared with my finances in order to out my cash down, I didn't bring a check and I thought worste case scenario I can throw a deposit on a card and come back Monday to finalize the deal. They asked me how much I was going to put down, worked out the financing for the rest, and let me take the car home with me that night with my word that I will come back Monday with a check for my down payment. Unreal! HUGE weight off my shoulders and they made everything SO enjoyable. The is my first Toyota, if things go ad planned it won't be my last but I certainly found my last Toyota dealership!
