Misleading Prices of Services on Website I waited a month pass when my actual service was needed just to have my car serviced by Sloane Toyota. I have always had great experiences overall wit I waited a month pass when my actual service was needed just to have my car serviced by Sloane Toyota. I have always had great experiences overall with this dealership but not today unfortunately. I scheduled an appointment online and checked the box for a $39.95 service. When I arrived my charge was for $80.00. I spoke to someone ( who I was later told named Alan) that told me my charge was for an additional service that was suppose to be combined with the actual service I scheduled the appointment for. I was confused because on their website it states $39.95. I asked why it wasn't stated on the site or disclosed to me when i dropped off my vehicle. All he kept repeating was that I needed both services and if I have an issue with it I should take it up with PennDot. Why advertise separate prices for a service knowing that it won't be the final price. Also I clearly asked before dropping off the vehicle if I needed to do anything with paperwork or if anything was needed from me. I was told no and that i could just leave. I wish that someone had gone over the information with me before receiving the service so I wouldn't have been caught off guard. I also didn't appreciate Alan's sarcasm. ( Everyone else was wonderful ) More

Last but not least,I’m more than satisfied with the outstanding results that was performed on my car! I was a little nervous about what I thought was wrong and how much it would be, but, I was charged a very fair price!!!! I’ll be returning for future maintenance!!! Automobile Service During a World-wide Epidemic I am writing to express my gratitude for repairs made on my car during the current Coronavirus-19 Epidemic affecting so many people world-wide and the I am writing to express my gratitude for repairs made on my car during the current Coronavirus-19 Epidemic affecting so many people world-wide and the great concern we all have for the spread of the illness. I work in the University of Pennsylvania Health System as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care and my car needed serving. I had an appointment for March 23, 2020--and, as it turned out, my appointment was cancelled because of the state-wide shut down. My car brakes were in need of attention as I had to be at work. I spoke to Service Manager David Meyrick, who arranged for special drop off protocol so that repair work could be done on my car and I could safely return to work. This effort is above and beyond what would be expected, and I am sincerely grateful to Sloane Toyota in Glenside, PA and the terrific team that works there. Thank you. Sincerely, SJS More
