Went in to get the clutch fixed on 2005 Scion XB. The work was good. However, nobody told us that the car was falling apart. If they had let us know that the car wasn't worth getting the clutch fixed we work was good. However, nobody told us that the car was falling apart. If they had let us know that the car wasn't worth getting the clutch fixed we wouldn't have done it. Tried to sell the car and was told of everything else that was wrong with the car. Feel like Sloane Toyota just wanted to get our money on work that wasn't worth doing. They could have offered us a deal on a used or new car, but instead they hoodwinked us into a new clutch. More

My experience with the service department was less than desirable. Simply stated they have absolute no respect for the customers time. What is the point of making an appointment at 8am if you had no inte desirable. Simply stated they have absolute no respect for the customers time. What is the point of making an appointment at 8am if you had no intention of working on my vehicle until the afternoon. I understand the things take time and figured at most they would have my truck for 4 hours to complete an oil change, tire rotation, and state inspection. Apparently simple routine maintenance takes 7 hours. I utilized the text system making them aware of the time crunch I was under and needed my vehicle ASAP. After my initial text I checked in 2 hours later on an estimated completion time only to receive an all caps response. When I mentioned how unprofessional and unnecessary that all caps response was to the service team. I got a response about that is how the system generates messages. My response was no sir none of the other messages came through that way so it wasn't your system. He then just walked away from me to got my vehicle and gave it to me with a black marks from someone's hands on the plastic around the seat belt. I have been using this service department for years but if this is the level of professionalism and customer service they strive for I will have to find a new Toyota service team More

Misleading Prices of Services on Website I waited a month pass when my actual service was needed just to have my car serviced by Sloane Toyota. I have always had great experiences overall wit I waited a month pass when my actual service was needed just to have my car serviced by Sloane Toyota. I have always had great experiences overall with this dealership but not today unfortunately. I scheduled an appointment online and checked the box for a $39.95 service. When I arrived my charge was for $80.00. I spoke to someone ( who I was later told named Alan) that told me my charge was for an additional service that was suppose to be combined with the actual service I scheduled the appointment for. I was confused because on their website it states $39.95. I asked why it wasn't stated on the site or disclosed to me when i dropped off my vehicle. All he kept repeating was that I needed both services and if I have an issue with it I should take it up with PennDot. Why advertise separate prices for a service knowing that it won't be the final price. Also I clearly asked before dropping off the vehicle if I needed to do anything with paperwork or if anything was needed from me. I was told no and that i could just leave. I wish that someone had gone over the information with me before receiving the service so I wouldn't have been caught off guard. I also didn't appreciate Alan's sarcasm.
