Can I give less than one star? Like all dealers, they will bend over backward and blow your phone up to sell you a car. But when it comes to service, they won't return your call. I told them I left 5 messages with 2 local dealers (Philadelphia and Glenside) and never received a callback. Their response was "someone will contact you tomorrow" and they disconnected the chat! I love my car but the service that you receive after you buy (at least in the Philadelphia area) is pathetic and unacceptable! I have had my car in a few times and the actual service team was great. However, the people they have in the scheduling department clearly don't know what they are doing and do not care about providing good service. I'm very disappointed. Not to mention that the 2 dealers do not share records. So I had my car inspected in May at the Glenside location because Philly didn't have any appointments open. A month later Philly called me to tell me that I am overdue for my inspection. I told them it was just done in Glenside. She wasn't able to tell me what else was needed because they don't share records. I have been calling since to try to get someone to do a safety inspection and anything else I may need and they have not called me back. Also, I purchased the extended tire warranty that is supposed to include the replacement of my tires for any reason. There was a defect in one of the tires so I called the dealer to have the tire replaced. I noticed that instead of replacing it, they rotated the tires. So now the defective tire is just on a different wheel. Again, I love my car but I am just so disappointed with the stress of trying to get an appointment for service. I am hoping that when I move the new dealer in my area will be better. More
I asked for the Sirius XM to be added to my infotainment system and it was not. Eric Tunkel was very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. He was very professional and made you feel very comfortable in his presence. I had my previous car for 24 years and I purchased it fro knowledgeable. He was very professional and made you feel very comfortable in his presence. David, Service Manager is very rude and obnoxious. I took my car for service on Thursday, July, 22nd, 2021. I pointed out that I found new damages to my car after inspection . He looked at me and said in an aggressive manner" Do you want me to pay for that? I am not going to pay you for it because my Technician didn't do that" He then walked away as if I was nobody. I felt disrespected because I didn't asked him for any money. This man has no class and should not be in such a position. Customers should be treated in a respectful manner and their concerns addressed in an amicable solution. David belongs in the gutters. More
My story is my car was drove to service garage for 10k miles service scheduled, but the garage was not open up then I saw the sign “ Please Pull Forward To Open Automatic Door” that why I drove closer miles service scheduled, but the garage was not open up then I saw the sign “ Please Pull Forward To Open Automatic Door” that why I drove closer and wait but the door still not open up ( the garage door must be open up at this time right? You can see my video below and see my car is close enough to get that garage door open up.) Then I drove closer again and wait for while but door still not open up again. I was decided to walk out and ask for help. Suddenly the garage door is open and hit my car which got the front bumper damages!. One of the service manager came out his name is David Meyrick. The first word from his mouth is that I run into the door. He didn't ask what happen and listen to my explain first. All he said that I was run into the door and the door cannot run into me. But he didn't know that I waited at the front of the door for while and door not open ( something wrong with sensor, I guess). I showed him the video from my dash-cam, but he keep said that is my fault to run into the door and I should fix the damages itself , they don't have any responsibility for this. The services managers keep said Toyota don't pay for my damage And said told who should pay for damage of the door. Really? Your garage door don't get damage much then my car. And Toyota is largest company and ask for me to fix the minor damage at the garage door and that didn’t my fault anyway. It so ridiculous words from the mouth of service manager. However I asked to speak with other manager. They sent out General Manger name is Jeff Lish. He asked me what happened and look at video from dash-cam carefully but still said the same thing with service manager. The only difference is he will contact the company that provided garage door to check on the sensor of garage door if work properly. But can't solved the problem right away. You are the GM. I don't know how you can get to the GM. Common man! my car only have minor damage, you are GM and cant solved this problem well or said some word comfort me because your garage door damager my property and clearly it not my fault? This GM said he also the CEO/ Owner of this Toyota. Really? and I cant talk to anyone beside him here. This is so UNFAIR for me. The video clearly show that door didn't open that why I drove closer and also the sign at door stated “ please pull forward to open automatically”. If the door open at first place then I don't have to drove closer to the door and got damages. My family and I have been loyalty customer to Toyota since 2011 and bought 6 cars so far from Toyota. After yesterday I don't feel to be their customer anymore or recommend anyone to them, because they really have bad customer service from service manager to General Manager. I post the video here to ask for help if the social media can help me share this and bring this message to someone that can solve this problem and understand the worst service that I had at Toyota yesterday.
