I bought my first car from Sloane Toyota Glenside yesterday, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. I had spent months researching different cars, dealerships, and financing options and w yesterday, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. I had spent months researching different cars, dealerships, and financing options and was really overwhelmed by the number of variables involved in this process. After months of indecision, and securing a loan from my credit union, my husband stepped in and suggested Sloane. We were fortunate enough to be matched with Richard Anderson. Going into the experience I was concerned that I would have to navigate my way through shady sales pitches and condescension. This was not the case with Richard; he was forthright and simply presented the facts. I knew I wanted a Prius and ended up going with one that was more expensive than what I had set out to pay (the price was fair and competitive; I am just stubbornly unrealistic about how much things should cost) but also newer and with significantly less mileage that I had even hoped for. Richard secured us a more competitive financing rate that the one that was offered to me at my credit union and helped us with insurance as well. It was apparent that Richard was charmed by what he perceived to be our quirkiness (my husband never learned to drive, we both have visible tattoos, and we have a dog walker), but he spoke directly to me the entire conversation and was incredibly respectful of that the fact that I was the one making the decisions. I get the strong sense that if I had gone elsewhere with my husband and my father in-law in tow I would have been risking a very different and significantly less pleasant experience. Additionally, Cheryl the finance manager was a pleasure to deal with. Again she offered a friendly, transparent and pressure-free experience. She seemed genuinely excited to help me purchase my first car. I'm still terrified of car ownership, but the customer service I experienced yesterday was exemplary and I too am looking forward to my first free oil change at Sloane Toyota. More
The sales representative Justine was very friendly and took into consideration all of my requirements when she arranged to get the car model I wanted. This was my first experience buying a car and I couldn't have asked for a better employee than Chris Nguyen to help me out. Purchased a 2010 Silver Toyota Corolla on Saturday 29 June. There are no words to describe of what a top notch pro Rob Fox is! My lady and I have no time to be playing games at a car dealership. I found the auto I wanted on the dealers website. When I called for the sales department on a Thursday, and if you happen to believe in miracles, Rob was the guy that answered the line. I told him time was a factor, that there was a trade, and that I really wanted this ride. We made a appointment for a Monday morning for my lady to come down and try to hammer out a deal. Two days after talking to Rob I could not wait any longer. Saturday morning as the Mrs. was leaving for work, we decided that we should try and get the car today. I call Mr. Fox at 9 AM and asked if there is any way we can make this happen today? On a Saturday, and not until my hard working woman can get there at 3 PM and the dealership closes at 5 PM. Guess what? No problem he said! We live close to an hour away from Sloane, and not having seen our trade our meeting us in person, Rob made us feel like we were regular customers. Not only did we get a killer deal on our trade in, and the car of my dreams, I think we were actually there for an hour and a half. That's what I'm talking about! Thanks Rob! If dreams do come true, you would be the only person I would buy a car from. More

I've been a long time customer of this car dealership, well since 2006 which seems like a long time. I bought a Rav4 there and had it maintained thoroughly since then. At 225K the car was to dealership, well since 2006 which seems like a long time. I bought a Rav4 there and had it maintained thoroughly since then. At 225K the car was totaled in an accident (it would have gone to 400k I believe but sometimes you don't get the opportunity. At any rate I went back to get a used (but newer) Rav4 and went back to Brandy Childs who is fun to deal with. Low pressure/ helpful, etc. It's easy to buy there. The service department is very professional and kept my first Rav4 in tip top shape. Could the price have been a little better? Yeah perhaps, but I wouldn't have saved that much more. The prices they put up online are fairly realistic for their used cars. So yeah, this is a good place to buy. More
I visited 3 dealerships in my quest for a new car. I had prepared myself prior to going to the dealership by getting pre-approved by my credit union. I was very impressed with the service I received at Sloan from the time I opened the showroom door. David Rice came up to me with a smile and greeted me with a friendly hello. He was not aggressive or pushy like some of the other dealerships. I was already annoyed with my previous visits to Sussman Kia and Sussman Honda. They both wanted my business but couldn't help me with what I wanted. They gave up on me because I had already did my homework and I knew what I wanted, but they weren't offereing other options for me. Sussman Kia basically said to me that I couldn't afford the Kia that I wanted and did not gvie me any other options. The atmosphere at Sussman Honda was cold. I walked around the tiny showroom for ten minutes and no one came up to me to ask me if I needed help. I had to find someone and get help. When I did, the salesman did not want to honor my pre-approval because he said that I couldn't get into a Honda Civic with my loan amount and he did not want to use my pre-approval from my bank because it required too many steps. I left immediately and gave up on the whole idea of getting a new car. The next day, I decided to visit Sloan since I had already purchased a Toyota from them years ago. When I went to Sloan Toyota, everyone was friendly and accomodating, especially the salesman David Rice. He went through the process with me, took me out to the cars that I was interested in and made the whole experience at Sloan a great experience. I was truly pleased with the customer service that I received and will continue to recommend my friends and others to Sloan Toyota. Good job!!! More
