It had been a long time, thirteen years, since I last purchased a car. At that time, I bought a corolla from Sloane Toyota that has lasted all these years, thanks to the excellent service it received at purchased a car. That service record of courtesy and professional work on my good old car is what prompted me to seek out a new purchase from Sloane. I went in to purchase my first car and i understand that a used car is going to have little dings and things that go along with it but a crack in the winddshield is unexcuseable. My salesperson was very nice and actually offered me a nice deal on my corolla but when i got home i noticed a crack in the windshield that was not noticeable before due to the stickers on the winshield that read low mileage etc. So when i call to ask to have the window repaired i get the runaround of course but they offer to send a guy to fix the window. When the guy comes out he tells me that he has actually seen this car before on the lot and that the window was repaired but it was repaired wrong. Their own expert tells me that i need a new windshield or it will crack and split. So when i call to tell them what their expert says they have us bring the car up the next day. When we do the manager tells us that his head shop guy is not there and they will have to take a look at the car in two days. I was angry at the fact that they had us bring the car up for nop reason but felt ok that they were going to try to fix the windshield. So two days later they get the car and guess what they say that its safe to drive a crack in the window that looks terrible and their own expert tells me the window is going to split but its safe to drive. Then the person on the phone has the audacity to tell me he can give me quote on a new windshield (oh but wait its safe to drive right). Trying to scam this new used car buyer. Sloane Toyota of Glenside is a bunch of scams and i WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANY FRIENDS. I have my dad and two friends looking to buy a new car this place is definitely not getting a recomendation. I now have to look for a place to replace my windshield since sloan is obviously not going to take care of their problems. STAY AWAY! More

I was very pleased with my dealings with Lester Torres and Loretta Reed of Sloane Toyota. Mr. Torres personally drove the car that I wanted from Sloane's other location to Glenside so I could purchase it and Loretta Reed of Sloane Toyota. Mr. Torres personally drove the car that I wanted from Sloane's other location to Glenside so I could purchase it that day. Ms. Reed drove me home while he did so, so I would not have to wait at the dealership. She also made sure that there would be no hassles that would delay the sale. They had the car ready for me that day, so I did not have to go back. When I was in the process of deciding what I wanted, Mr. Torres listened, offered suggestions, but did not try to push a car on me that wasn't what I wanted. His suggestions were a sincere effort to ensure that I bought the car that I wanted for the reasons that that mattered to me. Both he and Ms. Reed were pleasant and helpful, and made the entire process of purchasing my car an enjoyable experience. I would offer Mr. Torres and Ms. Reed the highest recommendation I can: When I went back to pick up my car, I brought my wife so I could introduce her to them in anticipation of the day that she may decide to buy a car.
