Difficult Problem With a 3.5L Ecoboost Engine I took my 2013 F150 3.5L Ecoboost in for service because when I stepped on the gas pedal hard the engine and transmission did not hook up. Because a lot of vehicles today are controlled electronically, I figured it had to be some sort of a "communication problem" between the engine and transmission. Frank, the Service Advisor, was very patient with me (this truck is my "baby") and he kept me informed as to the status of the service as it took some time to find the problem because the pickup would not replicate the symptom for Skyline. (Very clever truck ! :-) ) Frank, also arranged for a loaner vehicle for me as I really needed one! They had to put a Master Certified Engine/Transmission Mechanic on the pickup to finally figure out that the timing chain had stretched and (especially) under hard acceleration the truck could not read (understand the timing from the Timing Chain). Frank was very calm and very professional while I was frantically concerned for my "baby". The pickup is now running like new again !! Yeah Frank and crew !!! More

The work was done as scheduled and Frank personally followed up with me. Never did I feel he was "doing me a favor" or I was imposing on his good will. I was pr Under previous service management my warrantee claim for undue wear on the convert top of my 2016 Mustang was not taken seriously and denied. I was prepared to redress the situation with the dealership owner or go to the Better Business Bureau if need be. 3 or 4 months later the new representative, Vince, took fantastic care in listening to my concerns and merely days later I had authorization for a new top and a passenger back window that had scoring on it. At drop off Vince secured a loaner vehicle for me and to my delight recognized that I'm a large guy who commutes for work. Instead of putting me in the cheapest little hatchback you might expect he set me up with a great full size Fusion hybrid that gets crazy gas mileage. The week of being without my Stang was much less painful. During the replacement, mid-week, Vince called and gave me updates about the work. I even stopped by once and he was more than happy to show me what was being done. On completion my Stang looks fantastic. All the work was top notch, probably better than factory. He emphasized the 2 year warrantee on all the work. I couldn't be happier and I owe Vince and the guys who did the work much gratitude. My family have been customers of Skyline for many years and at times had concerns about service/repairs (never the product). Vince and the shop team have definitely earned my loyalty and I would refer everyone to use their services. I deal with the dealership in Corvallis from time to time on our fleet vehicle and I don't know how those jokers stay in business. Great job Skyline !!! More

Terrible Service I made a service appointment two weeks ahead. I brought my car in at the scheduled time, which was 8am. By 1pm, I had not received an update. I had to call in and was told my car had not even been looked at yet. I asked why I made an appointment and was told by Vince that it was to check the car in, not to have it looked at. I asked to speak to the service manager and he promised to have the car looked at within the hour. By 3:30, he called me and said they couldn't find what was wrong with it. He said,"sometimes these little gremlins are hard to find." You know what else is hard to find at Skyline Ford? Good service. I finally told him I would pick up the car and take it somewhere else. Of course, the car wasn't ready for pick up until almost 5pm. A whole day wasted and $150.00 spent to find out how much this dealer knows how to fail. Also, I left a voice mail for their customer service person and she never called me back. If you have a ford and need work done on it, take it somewhere else... ANYWHERE else. More

Katrina, the service writer, said it may be several hours before they could fix it. Actually, the car was repaired in about an hour and 45 minutes so managed to be finished several hours early. I am pleased with the end result as the car was fixed in about half the time expected, the service people are pleasant and knowledgeable and the customer waiting area is pleasant and has coffee available. More
