I made an appointment to I made an appointment to service my car for the first time since I purchased it new. I noticed I made an appointment to service my car for the first time since I purchased it new. I noticed when I checked in, that the service guys were somewhat heavy footed on the accelerator when taking the cars in the back. There were squeals from the tires when they took off. After more then 30 minutes waiting in the waiting area, listening to another customer on the phone , with his voice carrying through out the waiting room, I went to check on the progress of my car. I was told that this check up would take longer then the usual 90 minutes because of staffing issues. I asked the service guy why I wasn't told this to begin with and why would anyone make an appointment. I was told I would not have been seen without one. I told them I wanted my car. He came back and told me My car would be the second next car to go in. At least another 45 minutes. Why do they make you put a time on your appointment and accept it, if they don't adhere to it. I left without the service. I took it somewhere else got it done in the time waiting at this dealership. To top it off I received emails and texts from these guys like they were my best friends and everything went fabulous. I was talked into trying these guys from my sale guy ( who was great) because I had read their reviews before. They told me the dealership was trying to fix the issues and it would be better when I tried them. Guess what? NOT FIXED. Maybe it the management team that needs to be looked at. In my opinion don't use these guys, go to another dealership or somewhere else. More
I purchased my car from Sir Walter Chevrolet. The purchase process was okay. Shortly after, I needed a new battery which was within the warranty period. I had to remind them it was covered. The sec purchase process was okay. Shortly after, I needed a new battery which was within the warranty period. I had to remind them it was covered. The second battery died after the warranty expired. Sir Walter said the driver side door didn't close properly and the battery was being drained. This sounded ridiculous, so I went to John Hiester Chevrolet. They discovered a broken battery cable. In addition, they found that fluids that were supposedly topped off at a recent general servicing weren't at the proper level. I strongly recommend that no one use Sir Walter Chevrolet for service. Completely unsatisfied!!!! Drove 6 hours one way to buy a certified 2017 chevrolet colorado for 34,000 after making an appointment. After 30 minutes wait they bring the truck for us to test drive, and as soo certified 2017 chevrolet colorado for 34,000 after making an appointment. After 30 minutes wait they bring the truck for us to test drive, and as soon as I openned the door the smell of cigarette smoke was so strong that I almost passed out, but the sales agent told us that the dealer was going to detail clean the truck before we leave. So we went inside to do the financing, and after they pull out our excellent credit, the financing guy came and said that for some reason they can not sale the truck as certified, and offer us the warranty that we were supposed to get as certified and raised the car price 2,000,00. I was chocked but they know that we drove 6 hours and that we didn't going drive back 6 more hours empty handed. They took advantage of us. So we decided to go ahead and purchase the truck. After 2 hours they bring the truck to us with no floor mats that was included on the interior features on the window, and the sales agent told us that the the truck was sold as is, and that the floor mats wasn't included, also they didn't detail the truck either, the interior was filthy and with the same cigarette smoke smell. I was so tired and sad with the way they treated us. What an disappointment!!!! I dont recommend this dealer even to my worth enemy. Don't go there.... :( More
Not even sure where to begin. I took my car here for two visits in one -the first and the last. I have driven a Chevy for the last ten years and have always taken it to the dealership service department for visits in one -the first and the last. I have driven a Chevy for the last ten years and have always taken it to the dealership service department for maintenance. I relocated recently so thought I would try out Sir Walter for a simple maintenance visit, and asked them to run a diagnostic while there. The staff was unhelpful when I checked in, and turns out they charge you separately for each system they test during that diagnostic test. I get a call later in the day that my car is literally in an undriveable and dangerous condition, with repairs of upward of $2000 necessary for its survival. They told me I had an oil leak and messed up spark plugs, and when I got there to pick up the vehicle, they were telling another customer the exact same thing (the other customer was also not pleased). I took my car in to a different service shop today for a second opinion, literally everything I learned at this dealership that was “wrong” with my car was in perfect condition, and my car was perfectly safe and able to be driven; down to the fact that my oil had no leak and some of the standard maintenance they suggested wasn’t even necessary. This situation felt quite extreme, since the actual service necessary on my vehicle cost less than the price of running the diagnostic with Sir Walter. I have literally not left a bad or negative review for a business in my life. Everyone has off days; this, however, was unethical and unacceptable. Be wary if you come here, and ALWAYS get a second opinion if you do... especially if they pull the old oil leak and spark plug bit on you- a misdiagnosis too dangerous for them to be misapplying like this. It’s making me add a rep I worked with, but none of the people I worked with were available on the list. I do not know Matt, and I did not work with him. More

I recently was looking for a Chevy dealership to service my 1999 Corvette .It has 2500 miles on it. I was told that they would not work on it because it was too old. They said they would only work on a Chev my 1999 Corvette .It has 2500 miles on it. I was told that they would not work on it because it was too old. They said they would only work on a Chevy that old if they had done all the previous service on it. I guess when its that old Sir Walter doesn't consider it to be a Chevy anymore unless they did all the service on it. More

Man do they have a friendly sales department. You feel pretty good walking out with your new car. But when something goes wrong, which it will because you bought a Chevy, it's a whole different world. Asi pretty good walking out with your new car. But when something goes wrong, which it will because you bought a Chevy, it's a whole different world. Aside from the lack of customer service, they do terrible work. After 6 trips for one issue, it's not even fixed. And no one is apologetic. I would say don't buy a Chevy, but if you're set on it at least don't buy it here. More
