I realize the week of Thanksgiving is super busy and stressful as I spent 44 years in the business. We will remain loyal to Simpson Chevrolet but I feel the need to explain a not so nice experience we h stressful as I spent 44 years in the business. We will remain loyal to Simpson Chevrolet but I feel the need to explain a not so nice experience we had bringing our 23 Malibu in as it was undrivable. An unexpected and unplanned event that neither the dealer or us could control so over all we did get our car repaired and back on the road. We were met with an adviser we have never seen before. We asked for William Lopez who was out that day but asked that he be on our ticket (we did that back when I worked as shop foreman for advisers who were out). It did not happen. And as we were explaining what was happening with our car the adviser wanted us to get a brake flush and an alignment which had nothing to do with our situation at the time plus the car was not drivable. We only had 6 days of authorized rental which would put us at Sunday after Thanksgiving Day. Enterprise was closed at 1 on Saturday and all day Sunday so there was no way to get a receipt from them to release our car until Monday. I had explained that we were out of town until Sunday to the adviser before we left our car with him but no failsafe or back up plan was even attempted if it went until Saturday. We cut our stay out of town short to try and mitigate our costs. When on Friday we were told the car is ready I asked about the rental bill and was told "to turn it Monday and see what happens". On our way back on Saturday we called too let him know we weren't going to make it in time and jhow will we get our car back. after a very frustrating attempts to reach a manager I waited until Monday but was put in a spot to accept that I had to pay more. There wasn't any console on the adviser's part just left with a feeling that I have no recourse in the situation. Enterprise because asked how things were and found the extra rental days took care of that for us not Simpson Chevrolet or the GM factory. Trying to sell us maintenance items while our car is in disrepair is inexcusable. Leaving no out for extra days of rental or at least "we'll do what we can" only I have to take care of it even though there was no way of releasing the car from 1pm Saturday to Monday morning 8am. What happens when parts are on back order or diagnosis is taking longer or ??? no explanation of what could or might happen was given. Again we will remain loyal customers of Simpson Chevrolet. It has almost been two months, since I got the car but no lease documents yet. 1. I requested multiple times to update the car’s operating system to the latest version (including the on air update) but t lease documents yet. 1. The car was leaning towards right on free and does not drive straight, it has harsh vibration upon turning on the heater (this is a common issue, should have been fixed before delivery) 3. I have not received the lease documents yet, neither hard copies not the one in usb drive. 4. DMV registration was supposed to start from the day I received the car (late October), but it had started in July. More
