Unfortunately, the service department was terrible and dishonest. I dropped off my 2014 GL450 because the engine light came on. My car has only 54k miles on it with no issues whatsoever. They worked on it dishonest. I dropped off my 2014 GL450 because the engine light came on. My car has only 54k miles on it with no issues whatsoever. They worked on it for one day and sent me an invoice of $31,313.06 to either accept the repairs or just pick up my car and leave after paying the diagnostic charge. However, they opened up my engine and messed it up real bad, they left the air intake loose and burned from touching the engine, and a cranking noise coming from the engine heard when I drove it. I called up the service advisor, Vladyslav and complained to him, but he said that" your concerns are not related to work performed". They really messed up my car when they opened up the engine, just to make me trade it in at a c heap price and buy a new one which Vladyslav advised me to. How can a 2014 car with only 54k miles on it, family driven nicely, back and forth to school, have so many issues that it's worth $32k to fix?? I bought my car from Manhattan Benz, certified pre-owned with only 18k miles on it about 6 years ago and only drove about 5k miles a year, and to get an invoice of $32k from Silverstar Mercedes is a huge scam and a rip off! I will never deal with them again and will definitely file a complaint against them for damaging my car and left me with no choice but to take it to another service facility to fix it! More
