My husband and I tried in vain to buy a used car through a local dealership. Having not been successful, my husband scoured the internet and found what looked like a promising car. My husband contacted John "Ponch" Estrada, and John was very helpful in getting us the information about the car we were interested in. John emailed and called my husband back promptly. We drove down to Sill-Terhar on a Saturday (not at all expecting to buy the car), and we negotiated on the price of the car (it was a little higher than we wanted, which is the only "OK" they received on the rating). John was busy with other customers, so he had Greg Johnson work with us. Greg was helpful and forthright with us. Everything that needed to be fixed before we would actually purchase the car was fixed (they even threw in brand new tires because the car wouldn't align properly). We also very much appreciated that Greg showed us an invoice of all the work that had been done to the car while the dealership had it. That was actually the catalyst for us purchasing the car on the spot. I think what impressed us the most is that we were buying a used car, but were treated like we were buying a top-of-the-line vehicle. I would absolutely buy another car from them and would have no qualms, at all, suggesting them to a friend. More

I shopped online and decided on a 2012 Black Ford Edge Limited (loaded) although other colors were intriguing. I opt'd to do an internet quote from one of the car sites and received many offers from ALL o Limited (loaded) although other colors were intriguing. I opt'd to do an internet quote from one of the car sites and received many offers from ALL over the state of Colorado. Dan at Sil-TerHar gave me the first quote and it was the lowest for several days. Other dealers started high and eventually met the Sil-TerHar price. I knew I had a good price once I got a quote below the Sil-TerHar price. Dan met that price and my wife arranged to go to the dealer to double check the colors and ask questions. There was absolutely no pressure to buy and Sil-TerHar had the best selection of colors and models to compare against. A week later we both went back to the dealer and test drove the car. Dan KNOWS these cars inside and out and explained any and everything in as much detail as we wanted. Next, Chris in the finance department was friendly, informative, helpful, and didn't pressure us to get any of the extra warranties and such that we didn't want. We purchased the vehicle for EXACTLY what was indicated on our internet quote. The whole process took approx 2.5 hours (I wish this could have been shortened by an hour). This is my second vehicle from this dealership and both experiences were professional and pleasant. Also note: The Sil-TerHar service center offers free on-site Enterprise car rental if you purchased your car there and your vehicle is in need of service. I hope I don't need this (as my 97' Ford Ranger needed it several times), but it's nice to have just in case!! Also, the Sill-TerHar service center always treated me well and never instructed me to get any unnecessary fixes (I repaired my own cars for 20 yrs). More

I felt like the sales staff was very straight forward with no pressure to buy or spend more than I wanted to. They listened and were receptive to what I wanted. I had been to the lot a few time in the last year to look around and never once felt pressured. The finance department was also great. It took less than 3 hours from arrival to departure to drive out in a new car, signed and sealed. I would recommend this dealership to everyone!! More

So instead of getting the new truck right away with the tailgate we didn't want, we went back to Jeff at Sill Terhar and were willing to wait 6 to 8 weeks for the truck we wanted. We felt great about giving Jeff the business in the end. Upstanding guy. More

Lakewood Ford told me I was approved for a car...c car buying expreience. I visited 2 other dealerships before coming here, and those were a diaster. Lakewood Ford told me I was approved for a car...come to find out they didnt even run my application because of my credit score, and Medved was way too pushy. Im investing in a car, I dont wanted to be rushed or pushed. Jeff was very patient and worked with me for a couple of days to get me what I wanted. I appriciate all his hard work and time he put in.
