This is my second purchase of a new Ford Product in less than two years. I worked with Greg Johnson and Jeff Callies, Greg handled both my sales and Jeff handled both deliveries, Jeff explained many of the than two years. Jeff and Mark could not have done more for us, a "mature" couple that had to have all the bells and whistles that are on the new Ford Escapes spelled out for us. They were extremely helpful, courteous and PATIENT. After delivery, we discovered a minor problem with pricing. I called Jeff, he promised to check into it and call back the following day. He did, he solved the problem, we went back the following day to program our phone, and he again spent a half hour with us reviewing all the features on our new Escape. If not the best experience buying a vehicle we have had, it's in the "Top Two". Why shop for a Ford anywhere else? More
This dealership is a joke! I have a 2006 Volvo S60R and the "Factory Trained Mechanics" left dirty rags under the hood right next to the timing belts! My wife and I went to Sil-Terhar looking for a used vehicle that would help us through the Colorado winters. Initilally, my wife met with Angela and she was very understanding of our goals and showed vehicle that would help us through the Colorado winters. Initilally, my wife met with Angela and she was very understanding of our goals and showed her the vehicles we thought we in our price/credit range. We had shared with Angela we were pre-approved through CapitalOne. She suggested that we shop around for credit because we may be able to get better funding from other sources such as Ford. We were very hesitant because we felt our credit was not good enough to get anything better than for which we were looking. We agreed to look at other sources and found that she was right! We not only qualified for a much better interest rate, but we also qualified for a much better vehicle! We believe this is one of the best car buying experiences we've ever had. Angela listened to our needs; but also she better understood our needs than we had thus getting us a much better (almost zero) interest rate! She really does look after her customer's needs. More
Called and asked Jeff to find a Explorer with specific upgrades and he was able to find one within a day. Jeff also called us back very promptly and kept in touch every step of the way. Seemed very busy on Saturday yet the sales team stayed very focused on us. They were friendly and straight foreward. Knew the answers to all of our questions. Made initial contact about noon on Saturday, Nov 30th. Sent pic and window sticker of my trade, a 2008 Super Duty. Asked for approximate value of my trade and described the new truck I was looking for. Sent pic and window sticker of my trade, a 2008 Super Duty. Asked for approximate value of my trade and described the new truck I was looking for. Jeff Callies was the main contact; very professional, not pushy. He provided me with info on the units they had in stock that met the criteria I was looking for; a couple of emails and quick followup calls and we were in the ballpark. Maybe 20 minutes of my time invested at this point. Drove from Evergreen to the dealership and took a look at the new truck while they appraised my trade. Sat down with Jeff and worked through the numbers. I believed my trade was worth more so Jeff and I worked with Greg Larson; Greg was very transparent (unlike our President) and sat me in front of the computer and walked me through the calculations. He asked me where I needed to be on the trade; I told him, he plugged the number in and we shook hands. The entire buying process was probably less than 45 minutes including the phone/email time. The Finance Manager literally took five minutes of my time. I did have to wait for a bit while Jeff washed the new truck (twice), filled the gas tank and went over the vehicle with me. Watched the end of the Alabama/Auburn game on the big screen in the show room. Jeff contacted me Sunday morning wanting to know if I had any questions; told him I couldn't get the SYNC to talk to me. Jeff told me what I was doing wrong and it worked! I'm a very happy camper so far with the truck. Earlier I had contacted two other Ford dealers in the area (one I have bought two Super Duties from) and the follow-up was horrid. They were not good listeners and even though I sent the same info I sent to Jeff and Greg, they never followed up with the info I was requesting. One sends me an email about every two weeks asking if I'm still in the market ... I was always in the market but they just weren't listening. I will work with Jeff and Greg again in three years when my lease is up. I made a good living in sales/sales managment over the years; I understand what good sales people are all about; Jeff and Greg "get it". Dean More
