For the twenty plus years I've interacted with Matt Litchfield, from small service matters to major ones, he has remained, for me, overwhelming the best at what he does. Matt, the service writer, was great as usual, he is one of the reasons I keep coming to Silko. I have been a Silko customer since the 1980’s when they were located in Brockton, MA. I came back to the dea of the reasons I keep coming to Silko. I have been a Silko customer since the 1980’s when they were located in Brockton, MA. I came back to the dealership after I had the Transmission Fluid changed a week before because it sounded like something was rattling. After the tech’s inspected my Ridgeline, he said the rattle was due to a rusted Catalytic Converter Heat Shield. The price to replace the shield was $449 - WOW, A bit over priced I would say! The bigger issue is I told Matt that I could hear a “howling” kind of sound that appeared to be in sync with engine RPM’s and the transmission. The tech said that was also related to the heat shield. The only way to verify the “howling” sound would to have taken it out for a test drive, but that had not been done as the mileage in and out was the same. I really like the my 2017 Honda Ridgeline and will be replacing it when the 2024 models arrive. More
