Our story began in 1962 when Morris Silverleib, and his son Ira, opened their doors on South Main Street in Brockton.Over the years, Silko grew, and in 1973 added the Honda franchise to their fold. In 1994 I came to work with my father, adding the third generation to the mix. As our business continued to grow, we relocated our Honda dealership, one of the oldest in the United States, to Route 44 in Raynham in September of 2000.
Although times have changed, one thing at Silko has remained the same; we sell and service cars one at a time. We are dedicated to making the Silko Experience one that you can enjoy and that we can be proud of. The service dept is always great, but today James went above and beyond! I had my infant son with me and James was more than kind. They had the car I was seeking all prepped and ready for me to test drive, which was a really fun experience. At no time did I feel I was being "sold" anything - they all just wanted me to be happy with the outcome. Very professional, courteous and helpful. They were very good to work with, they did not waste our time. At other dealers the sales person would disappear for 15 - 20 minutes at a time. We had appointments at the other dealers, and it would be a hour before we actually test drove a SUV. At Silko we showed up and within 5 minutes we were driving the SUV we wanted to test. When it came to pricing, their first price was very good, I asked for my target price and within minutes, we were able to agree on a price and purchased the SUV, at other dealers this was a hour or more. The sales person was excellent at answering all our questions, and has been very helpful days after when we have called her with new questions. This is our first new vehicle in 15 years, and we had a lot of questions about the new technology, she took a lot of time going over everything with us. More
