Jaime Vega is the best! I know my car is in good hands with him. This is the only place I bring my STi. The service department here in Monrovia is much more accommodating, friendly and reliable than the one in Puente Hills, where I originally purchased my Subaru. The only downside is that some of their service people are not trained well. I recently brought my car in because all of the dash lights came on (check engine, eyesight, etc.) and it has been happening off and on for several months. I brought it to my regular mechanic and he suggested taking it to Subaru and have them check the ECM (engine control module) to have it reset. The first time I brought it in the service girl told me that was part of their multi-point check and that they do not take opinions of other mechanics. After receiving the car back, it started up with the dash lights going off again. With working full-time and planning for the holidays, it is really hard to get back in. After sending in a complaint, I received a call back and made another appointment on a Saturday morning, and I was told that I would get a loaner car. I brought it in, got a different service person and he was very helpful. He said it was part of the check engine light and they can check the codes to see what the problem is. I got my car back a few days later and it was finally fixed! I am glad it was able to be fixed, I am just disappointed that it took a second visit. I was also told that the multi-point inspection does NOT include checking the ECM. More
Battery failed. Showed up with no appointment and were treated quickly and well.
