While doing marketing research, I took numerous factors into account: safety rating, customer confidence, and vehicle durability. My conclusion was a subaru. I chose a subaru crosstrek base model. As a costco member, I filled out a members-only price sheet and within one hour, received a call from Oscar, the internet sales manager with Sierra subaru in Monrovia, California. Oscar was right up front with us that they had no base models in stock, but they did have a number of premium models available. He sent me a picture and a video of their inventory. I felt that Oscar was going the extra mile and decided to visit his dealership even though it was 100 miles away from my home. As it turns out, a wise decision on my part. Oscar demonstrated an in-depth knowledge of what I was looking for without any pressure or hidden agenda. After deciding with my wife, the vehicle we wanted, I was introduced to Cristine, the general manager. She helped us navigate an out-the-door price for the car and arranged to have the vehicle delivered so as not to drive the 200 mile round-trip to the dealer. My wife and I couldn't be more appreciative of the new car buying experience while working with Cristine and Oscar.
