Had a recent oil change, didn't really drive the truck much, except short distances around town on weekend. Last week had an add oil warning light come on the center display. I had 78% oil life remainin much, except short distances around town on weekend. Last week had an add oil warning light come on the center display. I had 78% oil life remaining and 3 months until the next recommended change. Dipstick was bone try. added 3 quarts before it was even barely reading at the bottom of the dipstick. Checked this morning for leaks and checked the dipstick, bone dry. large puddle of oil under the engine block. Added another quart to see if I could identify the leak. Crawl under the truck and oil dripping about a drip a second from the oil filter. jack the truck the up crawl under it, and filter was extremely loose, even covered in oil was able to spin the filter without even trying. Got the filter hand tightened, dont have an oil filter wrench so had to tighten by hand as well as I could. Extremely disappointing, this may caused unknown amounts of engine damage or could of caused the entire engine to seize. I expect better from Sid Dillion, I have bought 9 vehicles there. 2023 Silverado, 45k miles. More

I have purchased many cars over the last 15 or so years and I have never had an experience like this. From the moment I inquired about trading in my vehicle, to now, a few weeks after buying my car, everyo and I have never had an experience like this.
