Really liked working with Daniel Joseph. Second vehicle purchased in 1.5 years from him. He’s relaxed and personable. I’m not a fan of pushy, so Daniel is the salesman for me. I have not had the best of experiences at Baxter Auto prior, up until today. I have found many of the individuals working in the service department to think of me as a not so bright broad. However, I was prior, up until today. I have found many of the individuals working in the service department to think of me as a not so bright broad. However, I was pleasantly surprised the other day when I brought my husband's JEEP into the dealership. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a man named Corey. I know I look a little haggard due to the type of work I do, so I often get overlooked, but Corey did not let this deter him and made me feel quite comfortable. After speaking of my need's for an oil change, he looked up the information and discovered my husband was enrolled in the JEEP wave royalty program. Discovering this, directly saved myself and overall, my family money. Additionally, he offered me snacks and refreshments. In the future, I prefer to only work with this individual as prior experiences from him were nearly not as pleasant . More
So took a durango in for 80k service, which is supposed to be more than an oil change according to the description. Also had a check engine light on and the user interface (touch screen) kept locking up. to be more than an oil change according to the description. Also had a check engine light on and the user interface (touch screen) kept locking up. Check engine required a part so would be done next day, but still looking at the UI issue. So 4 days later I get a voice mail about having to order a part (new UI )and would get back to me on the cost. A couple days later no update so I called and left a message...again nothing for a couple of days. Called and had to leave message again, more days go by and still no callback. Finally called back after having the durango for 11 days and said part takes a few weeks to come in and can pick up your car....so you couldn't have told me a week ago. So 6 hours later I come to pick up the car and no paperwork is ready, so have to wait around. No one talks to me about the work done or details about the part order. No check off list of what was looked at in the durango so guess just a basic oil change and over priced cabin filter. I was surprised he emailed me about the part was in, was trying to get a time setup to fix the UI and now it's 3 days later and no reply. Wow what service. No one should ever deal with this place, I won't be back. More

I've exclusively brought my Jeep in for all oil changes and other issues I've had throughout the 5 years I've owned this car. I've never had such awful customer service as I had the last time I brought it and other issues I've had throughout the 5 years I've owned this car. I've never had such awful customer service as I had the last time I brought it in. I noticed a humming and a lack of my Jeep wanting to shift right away. I called for an appointment and I was given Pete as a service advisor. At first, everything was normal. He charged me $130 just to check out what the humming was, and then another $130 because to check on the lagging in gears shifting, it was a whole different system. After diagnosing $1400 worth of work, I give the okay to fix and ask about the lagging. Pete tells me that the mechanic couldn't recreate the problem with the lagging. I explain, in detail, for the third or fourth time what I'm talking about, and Pete says he'll have the mechanic go out and try again. I get another call later from Pete saying that the mechanic was able to recreate the problem, but he's not sure what could be causing it since there's no warning codes, everything looks great, and they've just gone through the whole system. It must just be how I drive my car, is what Pete says to me. I think, how rude, but whatever, I'm a woman and going to get my car serviced sucks anyway because of their attitudes towards women, so I anticipate this kind of behavior. Fast forward a few months, my gears lagging is happening more often and then my engine light comes on. I'm a dumb broad, right? So I call Pete and say, "Hey, I'm having that problem still and now my engine light is on." Pete says to bring it in to diagnose it again at another $130. I just spent $1400 on repairs he said I needed desperately for safety concerns, but apparently he wasn't concerned about my gears not shifting? Nope! The soonest he can get me in is a few weeks after I call. I agree. In the meantime, I check the code myself and thanks to freaking Google see what the most common problem related to my code is. Based on my search and the description of what my Jeep is doing, I need my spark plugs replaced. So I find someone else to replace them for me, and start driving my car, and wouldn't you know it...I suddenly must've learned to drive better because no more lagging! So it was my spark plugs all along. Pete charged me two different diagnostic fees, said the mechanic went over everything, and couldn't find anything wrong at all, and no one thought to look at my spark plugs?! Really?! It gets better though! So I call Pete up because I'm pissed and I jog his memory of my case and he claims he doesn't remember telling me it's just how I drive my car, which of course he doesn't, I'm sure. He then proceeds to yell at me, yelling at me not to yell at him. I'm not yelling; I'm speaking assertively, but not yelling. Then he yells at me that if I don't calm down, he's going to hang up on me. I ask to speak to his manager about three times before he actually comprehends what I'm saying because he is literally just yelling at me. Of course, the manager doesn't work weekends, so Pete says he'll print my file and have the manager call me Monday. Do you think I should hold my breath for that one? I'm absolutely disgusted that this is the way Pete thought it was okay to speak with me. He is not cut out for a customer service position; I've done customer service for 10 years and I know how to deescalate a situation so a customer doesn't walk away. It is clear that Pete doesn't listen at all to anything the customer says. In my appointment description, it says "customer states engine light comes on sometimes." Umm nope, that's not what I said the problem was! The service advisor exists as the liason between the mechanic and the customer, so communication is key. They have a service advisor who literally doesn't know how to do his job. I'd rather just speak to the mechanic. Pete obviously does not care about the disgusting reputation he's creating for their service department. And we'll see if the manager cares tomorrow, I suppose. I will not be bringing my Jeep back here for service. More

I took my 2007 Dodge caliber sxt to get it fixed after they sent me postcard to bring it in and the worker said he was not going to work on the car for safety reasons. A dealer that wont work on their o they sent me postcard to bring it in and the worker said he was not going to work on the car for safety reasons. A dealer that wont work on their own cars now doesn't that just top it all. He wasn't polite at all either. I'll never return there. More
I bought a car from this dealership back in 2016, I just now paid it off early with some help. I was on a lease- to- own car loan at that time and thought that I had to end my lease to move out of state. My now paid it off early with some help. I was on a lease- to- own car loan at that time and thought that I had to end my lease to move out of state. My initial reason for the visit was to LOWER my payments due to the cost of living in CA. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, Kyle took advantage of my ignorance and convinced me to break my lease (that had $15kplus still remaining on contract)! Kyle leading me to think this was my best option increased my current car price from 20k to $35k! This manipulation increased my payments from $410 to $585 monthly! I was so ashamed and still am to this day! I didn't know how to correct this situation for years. I finally paid off the loan early but have no idea how to go about receiving my interest fees refunded (as they were included into my monthly payments). Kyle knew very well what he was doing... he seemed friendly and I fell for it! I have been in a huge financial strain from the lack of integrity from this Kyle Mehta at this dealership! Kyle was also the SAME dealer who helped me get into the leased vehicle! I requested for him by name due to that rapport built. Only for him to take advantage of my ignorance... I woule advise people to just AVOID this dealership and Kyle altogether! I don't believe that this dealership is a business with integrity and respect! I'm so ashamed and know better now... More
