Salesman was recommended to me by a friend who said he was a great guy to work with.I called him and told him he had been highly recommended, and explained that I wanted to try and set up a buyin said he was a great guy to work with.I called him and told him he had been highly recommended, and explained that I wanted to try and set up a buying or leasing experience for a Sonata. He couldn't have cared less. He didn't have one in the color I wanted and didn't offer to try and get one. I asked him to work with me on getting pre-approval and he did nothing to get this started. He had me drive around the dealership on two different nights so I could see a used car that was the same color as the car I wanted and then he never followed up on that. He never offered to meet with me. It has been 2 weeks since my initial contact with him and I still have not had a call from him. In the meantime, I went to a Bellevue dealership who quickly found the car in my color, got me preapproved, got me in for the final paperwork and I am now the proud owner of a new 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Maybe the car I wanted wasn't expensive enough for him...I don't know what the problem was, but I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. (Keep in mind, I told him at the outset that he had been recommended to me, and that still didn't make an iota of difference to him) If all Sid Dillon's personnel are this uncaring, I don't see how they ever get any business. More
