After being in a pickle and needing to purchase a car ASAP, we chose Sid Dillon Hyundai due to the vehicle we knew we wanted. We went into the dealership set to meet with one salesperson and we’re handed ASAP, we chose Sid Dillon Hyundai due to the vehicle we knew we wanted. We went into the dealership set to meet with one salesperson and we’re handed off to another. From there we were pressured to add on packages we did not want. Furthermore, when our car did arrive to the dealership, our salesperson rushed us through the procurement process while trying to juggle us with other customers looking for a new vehicle. The communication between staff must be minimal, as when I went to sign the papers and pay for our new vehicle, the final total did not reflect the deposit we put down upon selecting our vehicle in transit. I luckily had my receipt and other paperwork handy to prove my $500 down. To cap off my experience, my salesperson texted me know I’d be getting a survey and said, “if you could help me out by giving me 10s across the board I would greatly appreciate it. If I get anything less than a 10 they think I didn't do my job.” I felt very uncomfortable receiving that message. More
Watch out for these guys. They advertise vehicles on line that are not for sale to the public, not at the location advertised. That way they get you in the door. They do not respond to emails. Not worth doin that are not for sale to the public, not at the location advertised. That way they get you in the door. They do not respond to emails. Not worth doing business with companies that are dishonest. More
I found the Acadia online, I specifically asked if there was any damage anywhere on the vehicle. The salesman Tyler, said "only a few minor door dings, scratches" which I am ok with and I asked because I wa was any damage anywhere on the vehicle. The salesman Tyler, said "only a few minor door dings, scratches" which I am ok with and I asked because I was not able to go see the vehicle myself due to husband having back surgery so they brought it here. The delivery guys got the papers out and had me sign and hurried off, then I looked over the car and There was a significant break in the fender of the passenger side. To where the bar the screws should be secured to was bent completely inward. the plastic guard was broke and hanging barely an inch or two from the tire. I sent pictures right away, got a response moments ago and Tyler swore he didn't see it, you can see it clear across the drive way so if he could see scratches, he couldn't have missed this. I then got a call from the manager and he said and I quote "bring it back and we will unwind it for you because there is a shortage of vehicles I have 3 other people who would buy this car today" And "he is human he just missed it we all make mistakes" like for real? Told him I wouldn't be able to bring it down that's why I had them bring it here. He said find someone this week who could for me. No apology, no we will pay to get that fixed, nothing other than it's a cheap part 20 30 dollars that any shop could do. Completely rude and was continuously talking over me, not even listening to my concern and his only response was bring it back we will resell it because theres a shortage, there are 1000s of used vehicles for sale. I now wish I would have went somewhere local. They obviously take advantage of people. More
I had a great experience at Sid Dillon on O St with Lacy Stattler! I found the exact car I wanted in tip-top shape at a fair price with excellent customer service and attention-to-detail. I highly recommend Stattler! I found the exact car I wanted in tip-top shape at a fair price with excellent customer service and attention-to-detail. I highly recommend this dealership. More
It was a bit confusing since vehicles I had inquired about and was told they were no longer available would appear online up to a week later. Need to improve on their listings. Contacting was good and I about and was told they were no longer available would appear online up to a week later. Need to improve on their listings. Contacting was good and I replied to each one but they seemed unsure if I had. At times they can have a nice selection of used vehicles. More
I purchased a used vehicle may 5 from this dealership. We had a trade in and a down payment. After agreeing on the price and writing a check. We were told that they could not release the vehicle off the lot had a trade in and a down payment. After agreeing on the price and writing a check. We were told that they could not release the vehicle off the lot due to safety concerns and the repair should be done by the weekend. We waited a full week before we could get the vehicle. The parts that we were told were ordered before we even looked at the van were in fact not ordered until they had our money. After that we thought everything would be fine. We had the vehicle one full week before it started making a noise. We took it back to service and they told me they could not replicate the noise. After 3 days of having it in the shop I had to drive the GM around in order to point out a grinding noise, which I was told " the previous owners probably hit a raccoon and skewed the exhaust and it's probably rattling". No repairs were made and I'm not confident in the vehicles safety, but also don't trust the service center to repair it. Finally, I went to the DMV to register the vehicle and was told the previous owners signed the title incorrectly and the title was sent back to be fixed. Which means I can't legally drive my vehicle until the dealership gets the title fixed. When I called and spoke with Shawn in titling was told the previous owner might be in later this week and we can still drive the vehicle just to keep papers with us. I'm sorry but telling your customers to drive a vehicle A) unsafely and B) illegally does not sound like good customer service. More
Very unorganized. Salesman was nice, but the guy that tried to sell the warranty was rude and impatient. Previously bought a car from this dealership, maybe 5!years ago, and it was great. It’s really gon tried to sell the warranty was rude and impatient. Previously bought a car from this dealership, maybe 5!years ago, and it was great. It’s really gone downhill since last I’ve been there. Needs to work on customer service and not taking advantage of customers. More
Bought a car in April and was misled by my concerns of the car at the time of purchase. sherry promised my family of 5 would fit in a Rogue (no I didn’t have all the kids with) and she also told me the re the car at the time of purchase. sherry promised my family of 5 would fit in a Rogue (no I didn’t have all the kids with) and she also told me the remote start would be similar to the one I had in my Ford. They have wasted so much of my time on this matter and each time Nick has been trying to get me to spend more $ than I am now with a car I absolutely hate ....which by the way will NOT fit a family of 5 and the remote start is a joke. Sherry and Nick have tried nothing to right the situation and I do NOT recommend anyone buy a car from Sid Dillon....they do not know how to make a customer happy and satisfied. More
One of the better Car buying experiences I worked with Paul Wilson and he was phenominal. He wasn't too pushy and listened to all my needs/wants/concerns. He worked with me to get me the deal I worked with Paul Wilson and he was phenominal. He wasn't too pushy and listened to all my needs/wants/concerns. He worked with me to get me the deal I wanted and the pricing I was budgeting to pay. If you are in the market for a new or used car and hate working with the typical sleazy car sales guy, go talk to Paul. He is amazing and will working with you to get you the car and deal you want. Liars We bought a vehicle from them 3 years ago. Went back today to do a trade. Called and was told this certain one we were interested in was in great shap We bought a vehicle from them 3 years ago. Went back today to do a trade. Called and was told this certain one we were interested in was in great shape. Husband and I took off work to check it out and possibly work out a deal. We got there before they opened checked the vehicle out in the lot and we were told a complete lie. There was rust when we were told there was not, the front bumper was pushed in, scratches all over it. We walked away and come back 10 mins later to see that a mechanic is in it and starts it up and it sounded horrible. Why would someone tell you that it's in great shape even though it's not at all. You need to work on your customer service so people are not wasting their time by missing out on work thinking they are going to come see a vehicle in "great shape". Plus our sales person that set up a 9am appointment was 15 mins late. If you have a mandatory work meeting before and know you are going to be late don't tell your customers that that time will work and make us wait. We will never purchase a vehicle from them again.
