Took car in for warranty work and they left the coolant hose un clamped resulting in my radiator blowing coolant leaving me stuck on highway , also they put a cigarette out in my engine leaving it there. I told the service guy and he said no on smokes there. Went in for a oil change and they left the oil plug loose leaving oil stains on my driveway. Ordered a part from them and got my car into my mechanic to replace the valve who said it’s the wrong part, lost time and money going back and forth and made a complaint to John lynch the manger who more or less just shrugged it off . 3 strikes your out , good luck More
Always take my car here for service & dealt with Rob. My last visit with Ron they had my carv2 days. I couldn’t get a loaner. Spent over 800.00 and I find they never checked my fluids. After getting my car Temperature light kept coming on when I started the car. Ron responded saying come back will top it off. Thanks Ron but why didn’t you check it after my coils and spark plugs replaced and an oil change. You expect me to drive 25 miles for you to top off my fluids when it should’ve been done after you worked on my car as a courtesy. So angry!!!!! I am a widower & depend on my service team to keep my car in running order. After all I pay for it. More

Owned a bunch of diesels in my 50 years Of driving,VW’s and MB’s. My current 2012 Jetta Sportswagen TDI was part of the recall modification program.. Vehicle has 196,000 miles had intermittent starting issues, misdiagnosed by other dealerships and independents. Dave at this dealership was the BEST, found the issue, and was honest and transparent . Excellent customer service I have three VW vehicles in my household which I service at Shrewsbury VW and I have yet to have a bad experience. I live in Jackson, NJ and the closest dealership for me was Freehold, which closed in February, so I've been coming here since. From the very first time I set foot there I was greeted by a no nonsense, get what I need done and get me on my way gentleman named David Nagel. I got a loaner if/when needed and waited if I didn't. I have never sat there and waited without knowing exactly what or when they would work on the vehicle. Very easy to schedule an appointment and reserve a loaner (in advance) when I needed one. David tells me exactly what the vehicle needs and nothing more. He will tell me what to keep any eye on or what I'll need down the road to maintain the vehicle in top shape. He explains everything clearly and is very knowledgeable about the product. I have also watched him run the place while waiting, and witnessed how he deals with and treats his customers. Very professional and very straight forward. I highly recommend this VW service dealership. Stop in and ask for David Nagel. You won't be disappointed. More

It's a pleasure to visit the service department. I am always treated respectfully and they take the time to make sure that I understand the problem/service being done.
