Does customer service exist at Honda? I think not and here is why! I have had bad experiences at another dealer, Bell Honda. The experiences started with misspelling my name in their system. Then I was told my REAR brakes needed replacing after only 16,000 miles. I have never had my rear brakes wear down, but the implication was that I was driving with my parking brakes on. Now I go to Showcase Honda for a warranty recall service bulletin. The service adviser that greeted me correctly spelled my name on the service order sheet that I signed, but when I received the paperwork I noticed that my name was misspelled. If Honda can't train their people to be faithful in the little details then how can they be expected to be faithful in the larger details such as an oil or transmission service. More

The experience itself was a nightmare. If you are FEMALE stay far, FAR away from showcase honda. I went in there with a male friend about a month ago. I was the one purchasing the car, but it seemed as thou stay far, FAR away from showcase honda. I went in there with a male friend about a month ago. I was the one purchasing the car, but it seemed as though the salesman i dealt with could not comprehend that I was buying the car, and not my friend. My friend would even look at him and tell him not to sell him, but rather me. It was funny in a sense, that this man really thought that because I was female, I had no idea what kind of car i wanted, and needed my male friend to figure it out for me. Then once we found the car i was interested in, (about an hour after he tried to convince my friend of everything else on the lot), we started talking price. Keep in mind I had been to quite a few honda dealerships and I did my homework, so I knew what my ballpark price should be. At first, he handed me the MSRP price, I laughed and walked out. Two days later (suprise suprise) I was called by them telling me that they had a similar car and they could give me it at my out the door price. No thank you, I want the one I saw. They convinced me to come back in and we would work on the price of the car I wanted. They claimed the will pay for my gas and fill up my tank as long as I come in. Again, we spent over an hour negotiating the price of the car I originally wanted. (the only perk of this miserable experience was getting a decent price). Now here comes the fun PART.. We agreed on an interest rate. I did the math while he walked off to the "finace guy" to calculate my payment. When he came back, the payment was $40 over what number i calculated. He tells me that i obviously dont know how to calculate an interest rate and I am wrong. He tells me to sign a paper saying I agree to make that monthly payment. I say “nope, not until your number matches mine”. I even re-calculated it infront of him and he still tells me I am wrong. (Apparently the "finance guy"is always correct). He brought the paper back to the "finace guy" 3 different times before the number matched mine!!!! I was appalled at this point - had I not been able to calculate a payment, I would be paying at a higher rate without my knowledge. That is illegal. Next - it took literally 3 hours to go through finance. I wish I was kidding. The guy was absolutely horrible to work with. (i want to say his name is Don?) Apparently he was new. He was rude, and absolutely OBNOXIOUS. He refused to honor the interest rate that I got. I waited 3 hours to speak with him, just to hear THAT! Are you kidding me!! I was IRATE at this point! I put the keys on the table, and was about to walk out, but miraculously, at this point, my interest rate was ok to honor. (hmm…weird they honored my rate when I was about to walk out). Oh and as I was leaving I reminded them that they needed to fill up my gas tank like they had promised, but unfortunately they could not hold true to their word because they do not have diesel fuel. Of course they don’t. Ha ha. The only good thing is I got a decent price on my car. Go to Showcase Honda if you are willing to waste an entire day of your life, get a bit agitated, and raise your blood pressure a bit to get a decent price. Oh and please dont forget your calculator! By far the worst service Iv ever had. Iv purchased my last two cars from them in the past and when I was in there yesterday looking for a car in my price range they kept pushing me to look at others out last two cars from them in the past and when I was in there yesterday looking for a car in my price range they kept pushing me to look at others out of my range. After they seen that numbers would not work out for me they had me look at the IS300 numbers seemed to work out so I was looking to buy it, When there finance guy kept pushing the warranty on me he talked me out of buying the IS300 due to the age and mileage so I told him ill just come back on the weekend to talk about a newer car purchase. The sales manager tried to lower the price on the IS300 to make me still wanted it. After I declined the offer he said “thanks for wasting 4 hours of my time” I can not believe there sales manager would be so unprofessional especially to some one that has purchased 2 cars from them in the past. More

He was asked how much he wanted to pay we told him our price. so he called Showcase Honda gave them the stock number and the information on the car. He was asked how much he wanted to pay we told him our price. The next day Ron and I went to the dealership and was meet with the sales man that we had talked to the prior day. The sales man was busy with another customer and passed on to another salesman. We did not mind being passed on to the next sales man but then we were passed on again to another sales person. So we were told by the last sales man to go out side and they will bring the car up. We waited ten minutes and I was getting upset I had a special needs child with me and could not stand outside with the heat. While standing there Peter C Dammar took a notice that were left hanging in the wind. He got up from his desk and asked what we needed. We told him and was really getting happy dealing with Peter. He went above and beyond the call of duty, he made sure he stuck to his work, he faced us when no other salesman would after a different price was offered we were leaving and Peter is the one who came out and spoke to us about what was going on. He explained that the previous salesmen did not tell him any history with our call the previous day, the price the agreed to or any information that could of helped Peter understanding our needs. He explained how everything was explained to him and said I am sorry I am not aware of any problems but give me a moment and we will find out. He came back out explained everything and really made us comfortable to come back in to the showroom and discuss the sale of the vehicle. If it was not for Peter C Dammar we would not of purchased the car and we would of left unhappy customers but since he took the time, energy and concern to help us out he has given a breath of fresh air when purchasing a car so much so that I went to facebook and made a comment on the awesome service Peter gave us. I was jealous that I did not get this awesome salesman when I purchased my vehicle. I will keep this experience in mind so when I am ready for buying a car I know exactly where to go and to who I want to speak to, Peter the great salesman. Thank you for all your hard work Peter and Showcase Honda should be proud to have a awesome salesman like you. More

I just bought a used Odyssey this past weekend at Showcase and had a great experience! My fiance and I spent the entire weekend going from dealership to dealership trying to find the best deal and th Showcase and had a great experience! My fiance and I spent the entire weekend going from dealership to dealership trying to find the best deal and the most comfortable vehicle possible, which unfortunately meant we had to deal with some very awful sales people! Michael and Sean however, were wonderful to work with! They both were happy to explain everything to us and gave us the best deal they could. Wes absolutely couldn't have been more willing to help and been more of a pleasure to work with! And last but certainly not least, Alex (in finance) was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and worked very hard to make sure my loan process was as easy as possible. This is my 6th Honda purchase from my 4th Honda dealership in the valley, and I will definitely go back to Showcase for my next Honda! More

Once you make a car purchase you can forget about getting any customer service, they suck! They completely blow you off, don't follow thru with what they promised. I have owned Hondas all of my life. This is the second I have purchased from Showcase Honda. I will be buying all future Hondas from this dealership. Steve Marion made such an impression on me with my first Showcase purchase that there was no question of my returning there for my recent purchase of a 2012 Civic. The friendliness, service, and respect I have experienced at this dealership blow all others away. Steve has moved up to new car sales manager since my last visit, so he brought in Eric Carter to assist me. Eric is an amazing and genuine person; he makes you feel like an instant "old friend". Steve and Eric are not the typical sneaky car salesmen. They get you what you want, at an amazing deal, and QUICK! Steve did the bulk of my past two purchases over email, so that I did not have to sit in a dealership all day. That is huge for me! There are 2 Honda dealerships much closer to me, but I make the drive to Showcase, even for oil changes and other maintenance. If you want to buy a Honda, and you want to be treated like an actual person, don't waste your time anywhere else. Go directly to Showcase! I have come to trust the name and the brand of Honda over my life, and now I have a dealer with a great staff that I can trust just as much as the cars that I love. :) More
