I actually live in Tucson and drove to Phx to look for a car for my daughter and a replacement vehicle for myself. We actually drove up to look at vehicles on craigslist but after spending hours calling folks and nothing working out we decided to go look at a dealership. Not knowing anyone in phx we googled honda (we knew we wanted a honda for her) and saw Showcase. We drove over and the minute we pulled in Karen was over at our vehicle ready to help us out. She was so attentive to everything we explained. She worked with the "boss" over and over to get us what we could afford trying multiple combos of ideas. I can't remember the name of the tall young man helping her out (she was new - only 3 wks on the job) but he was totally awesome. We didn't feel like we were being "sold" on something. It was more like the product sells itself and they were just guiding us since they were the experts on product details. We ended up trading in my 2003 explorer and drove off with 2 brand new hondas - both on lease! I was very, very pleased and still am. It cost me more monthly to put gas in my truck than it does to pay the lease! Of course the ins premium is a little higher on the honda because its new but still - Showcase Honda you rock! We are coming back your way when our leases are up:) More
Everyone I worked with was extremely helpful and made the car buying process very easy. The dealership was fantastic. Friendly, courteous and willing to make a sale. They didn't haggle, they beat our lowest price -- not just below but, a couple of hundred below. I had the previous vehicles exclusively serviced at Showcase Honda. I have always been treated professionally by persons who knew how to provide exceptional service. Due to the constant demand for literature on the vehicle that I purchased, we were unable to acquire a booklet describing the various models available. I came in looking for an accord coupe and with the large selection Showcase had availible it was pretty easy to find what i wanted. The guys worked their buts off to give me what i wanted. I came to Showcase Honda in need of a new car with lower gas mileage than my SUV. New car manager Mike Dufour was quick to help me and found me the perfect Civic coupe to fit my needs. I had a horrible experience at this Honda dealership. I was promised something that they couldn't deliver and they tried to overcharge me once I got there, not once but twice. I am not a stranger to Showcase Honda. Everytime I come here the service is always off the chain. The guys are over friendly, which is excellent because that is what keeps me coming back. In mid December 2009 I bought a used Honda Odyssey from Showcase Honda. In the course of purchasing the car I was told that a) All used cars came with a 90 day- 3,000 mile warranty, and b) the van would u Showcase Honda. In the course of purchasing the car I was told that a) All used cars came with a 90 day- 3,000 mile warranty, and b) the van would undergo a complete inspection and that the car was or would be in good shape with all current maintenance completed by the time I picked up the car four days later. In fact, the transmission was leaking fluid when I picked it up and was ready to fail while being driven. I had the car back to the dealer after less than 200 miles of driving and the service department confirmed the transmission needed to be replaced. The Used Car Manager, Cassidy, had the audacity to tell me that the transmission would likely last 90 days or 3,000 miles and that I should just get the car fixed on my own. He admitted he would not let his wife drive a car in that condition but the transmission met the terms of the warranty from Showcase Honda. If I wanted to fix the car it would cost a few thousand dollars. Outraged I refused and demanded they either replace the transmission at their cost, trade me into a different Odyssey or give me my money back as promised in their 90 day 3,000 mile “warranty”. He declined to do any of those things. He said I had actually bought the car “as is” and it was not his problem. I then reminded him of their dealership used car warranty proudly posted on a large poster in their lobby: 90 day, 3,000 mile guarantee. Well, then he offered to split the cost of replacing the transmission with me. NO WAY I responded. It took threats of legal action and 2 hours of arguing to finally get Showcase Honda management to meet their obligations under their own warranty terms. The really shocking part? Two days after shoving the dangerous and failing van back down their throats Showcase has listed it as “For Sale” once again. BUYER BE WARE! This Dealership lacks the qualities one would expect to find in an honest or fair business. More
