Be very careful with the Finance Guy After dealing with Showcase Honda I will never again purchase another car from them. The salesman that I dealt with over the phone and in person was After dealing with Showcase Honda I will never again purchase another car from them. The salesman that I dealt with over the phone and in person was wonderful. The problems start when they get you to sit down with the finance guy. We walk through all this paperwork (which I should have been more careful to check all their figures) and then they try and push the extended warranties on you. We told the guy no twice, and then he brought in another woman who tried to get us to accept it. She finally said that adding it to the cost would increase our monthly payment by about $2, which doesn't make a lot of sense but we said okay as we had 2 kids with us and were tired of arguing with them. What she did was add an additional year onto our payments and increase the interest rate, we agreed to 5 years 0.9% (Honda promotion) and they increased in to 6 years 2.99% without telling us about it at all. The only reason we caught that was that my wife saw it on the final paper. When we pointed it out they quickly changed it back and sited a computer mistake and said it didn't come over that way. The other issue we had is the payoff value of our trade in, we talked with the salesman and finance guy about it multiple times (i've followed up with the finance guy but he doesn't want to listen). They tell us how they check the payoff amount which should have been about $10,100 (per the credit report or the credit union our current loan was with) but they then used the about $9,800 on the paper work. We asked multiple times what happens to the payment we have pending with the credit union, and they told us that we would get that money back. Then when we do get the refund back from the credit union it was $70 instead of the almost $400 we were expecting because the amount they paid was after my payment posted. This is definitely my fault as I should have caught them changing the amounts but on top of the first issue with the extended warranty I will never shop from this dealership again and hopefully this will protect other people from what I experienced. More

Excellent, time-sensitive service Was visiting Phoenix when I had a critical requirement to replace part of my gas tank so I could get back to San Diego. Stopped in mid-day to assess the situation, and was told the parts would be shipped in the next morning. Arrived at 7:00, and was told it'd take 2 hours. About an hour and 40 minutes later, all fixed. Great service. Oscar was warm, kind, professional, and extremely competent. Was very happy I took it to Showcase Honda, and will be back if/when I need service while visiting Phoenix. More

Great honest experience! This is my first purchase from a big dealer so I had to find the right service advisor. Around closing time I go in because my tire pressure light cam This is my first purchase from a big dealer so I had to find the right service advisor. Around closing time I go in because my tire pressure light came on. Advisor told me I needed a new tire and that I would have to come back the next day when they receive more. The car was due for a oil change so i decided to not make an appointment and just walk in on Saturday to see what the next advisor would say. Oil change was done very quickly and surprisingly, Victor found nothing wrong with my tire. Saved me $176 More

Three days later Mike called and appointment made. for 8 A.M following day. I arrived at 8 and Mike took car and indicated installation would take about 2 hours. I went to the Customer Lounge and 2 hours later Mike arrived to tell me the installation was complete. Mike was very helpful from start to finish. Void of any complications. More
