I searched AutoTrader for a Duramax diesel truck for over a year before making my purchase. Show Me Auto Mall had a very clean 2005 Chevy 2500HD with the LT3 package for less than NADA, Edmunds, and Kelley a year before making my purchase. My salesman, Bill King, did a complete walk-around inspection of the truck noting every imperfection and even gave me a ballpark value for my trade-in over the phone. After a long roadtrip to the dealership, I was very happy with the condition of their truck. While I was hoping for $200 more for my trade-in, it was still a very positive buying experience. I was greeted by several very friendly employees, got a fair price for my trade-in, and drove home in a very nice truck.
