After deciding on the truck we wanted and negotiating price to a payment we were comfortable with, we also decided to trade in my car. The point of trading in the car was to lower payments as we were going up in truck payments. 6 days after purchasing the truck the engine blew up. We are talking a 2007 Silverado 1500 with 79,000 miles. There should have been no issues and we were assured the vehicle went through their service center when we purchased the vehicle. When we first looked at the vehicle the check engine light was on and we were assured it would be fixed. When we took delivery they said it was just a sensor. When we called about the engine we were first told we would have to wait until after the weekend because it was Friday evening of a 3 day holiday weekend. My husband was upset and they agreed if we could get the vehicle to them they would provide a loaner as we were going out of town and I was already in southern Missouri. The loaner they gave had NO gas. When j say no gas...I mean bone dry. The loaner also got terrible gas mileage, so we have to overspend our budget to have enough gas to get home. When we returned to we asked for a different vehicle. We were given a different loaner once again with no gas. The truck would hardly stay running. After 2 weeks we finally got our truck back. A couple of days later the check engine light came on again. We took it back and they fixed it again. At this point we were worried about the quality of the vehicle and told the dealership that we would like to look at other trucks to get out of this one. We were advised that we would have a high amount of inequity because we hadn't even made a payment. What? We put 500 miles on it and they are telling us we are already upside down? We hadn't had it a month! We kept the truck for only a few months before we found a dealer willing to work with us and get us a great deal! Looking back now...we were unsure how we ever got my car financed though. They could only get a us an interest rate in the teens and in just 6 months I was over 7 thousand dollars upside down in my car. I realize that I should have looked at the numbers better, but the dealership should feel guilty for screwing us over so bad on the numbers. We have since been working with an amazing credit union with excellent rates for new and used cars and once again found a vehicle at Show Me that we were interested in. We made three trips to the dealership and on the third were told that they were working on the bottom dollar figure. They kept trying to get us to run our credit and see what the could do, but we insisted that the 4% interest with our own financing is what we wanted to do. We did not want any other bank. After the 4th day that we were told we would get a call with the numbers I called three times, and our salesman had not communicated to the manager that we were only concerned with the bottom line. They offered us $5000 under retail for our truck and their truck was $1500 over retail. In speaking with Clifton he told us that he could go down to a certain amount, but we told him we were still about $1000 over where we needed to be. We told him if he could get another $500 we would meet in the middle. He said he would speak to Josh the owner and call us back. 3 days later we got a phone call from our salesman, and Clifton denied even offering the number he did. This dealership let us walk away over $500. We gave them a chance to redeem themselves and they ruined it. Nobody ever remembers what they told you, they want to push you into something else that you don't want because v they don't want to negotiate prices and they simply only care about their sales and not their customers. We will never think about using this dealership again and will tell everyone we know not to even look at their lot. When you try to call them put on their mistakes they only argue that they did nothing wrong and they do not care about reputation. We also know others who have purchased vehicles here and every one of them has ended back in the shop. They do a crap job of detailing their vehicles and you get it in the condition the previous owners left it in. STAY AWAY! DON'T EVER GIVE THEM A CHANCE! THEY WON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR WANTS OR NEEDS ONLY THEIR OWN! More

After searching craigslist for the vehicle i wanted, I called Nick, told him what i was looking for. He got me a newer,less mileage car for a better price than craigslist. Nick and the guys are awesome. If i need another vehicle i will definitely comeback. More

They were really busy when we arrived, I knew what I wanted to look at and they just did a quick license swap for keys so we could inspect while they got someone to help us. I had plenty of time to inspect and check out on my own. Salesman was very knowledgeable about vehicle accessories and never tried to sell it to me. Never any pressure and priced right. Purchased a vehicle and had equity in it at time of purchase. Family friendly with the kid activity area so we could do the paperwork without interruptions. Financing was a snap with a great interest rate. More

great place to buy a used vehicle! My wife and I were looking to replace our old truck with a newer lower miles diesel and found exactly what we were looking for at show me auto mall.
