Sub-par Service I took my 2013 Avalon for a saftey recall and knew right off the bat when I was making my appointment that this was not going to be a pleasant experie I took my 2013 Avalon for a saftey recall and knew right off the bat when I was making my appointment that this was not going to be a pleasant experience. Right off the bat, the service writer asked me if I needed any other service preformed such as wheel rotation and I replied no. Although once at the dealership, I was promptly greeted and since I was waiting, was directed to the waiting area. During the pandemic and recommendations by the CDC, there was NO hand sanitizer nor was the waiting area arranged for social distancing. Then once my vehicle was ready, the service writer came to advise me that my tires on the rear where out of alignment and that I needed an alignment preformed. That was when I got really ticked off since it had been about a year since it had been done at this dealership and I declined to have this done. Bottom line is if the alignment was done back in 2019 and now it is out of specification then one of the following scenarios is possible: A. Equipment used in 2019 was out of calibration, B. Technician error as it was late in the day, C. Equipment used today was recently calibrated, D. Dealership trying to generate additional revenue by pushing services not needed. Needless to say, I probably will not come back to this dealership again. More

Tire Warning Light was ON The tire warning light came on. I drove to Shottenkirk Servce . I told the attendant why I was there and she verified the warning on the dash displa The tire warning light came on. I drove to Shottenkirk Servce . I told the attendant why I was there and she verified the warning on the dash display. She took my name and said that they would check it. I went to the Service Customer waiting room while they checked out my tires. I was there about an hour. They discovered a nail in the left rear tire. Since I had a Hazard Policy on my ties, they patched the tire on the inside at no charge. I drove the 1 hr and 30 minutes to get home with no problems. More

Not happy. Had to take the car back for a state inspection a month and a half after purchase. I had to call to inquire about status of my plates as the paper tag was about to expire. I was told to inspection a month and a half after purchase. I had to call to inquire about status of my plates as the paper tag was about to expire. I was told to bring it in to get it inspected. So I have to take off work early, drive an hour away for their screw up. I was offered nothing for the inconvenience. I’m not impressed with this at all. More
