I bought a Town and Country, and it quit working less than 48 hours after purchase. The dealership had it for three weeks, with no communication unless I initiated it, then I feel like I got the run arou than 48 hours after purchase. Beware the Added “Care” Bait and switch at its finest! Worst thing Jerry Durant ever did was sell his Toyota dealership to these people. Beware! Advertised price for vehicle $5700 but after they add their "Care " warranty (which the manager tried to tell me was actually to recoup losses and bring people from metroplex back to the "country"!) and a few other dealer costs above tax and license , a car that should have cost $6500 at most was now $8841!! A car with 153K miles, torn up interior (we were told we should buy floor mats), and stalled out when test driven. When I tried to say no thank you repeatedly to the $1995 added "Care" warranty (which covers dings, tires and power train only), the manager--Terry--got involved. I guess I was supposed to be either impressed or intimidated--not. Refused to take off warranty and gave rant about bringing other customers in?? Please, do those sexist tactics really work for yall? Advertise the car for the price you want. Don't call added dealer costs and profit a "warranty" and act surprised when someone walks away. Love how there are suddenly great reviews after those that were so similar to mine. More
