Good Morning Jayme Wood, My name is Kurt Kjornes and I am the Service Manager here at Shottenkirk Toyota of Weatherford. I wanted to first thank you for taking the time to share your review with us. I appreciate the opportunity to address the issues that you had so we can learn from them for the future. We do use an offsite appointment setting system and unfortunately they don't have access to parts's availability to Toyota Recall parts. They wouldn't be able to inform you of whether or not we have specific parts in stock to complete recalls. In most cases we do have to have the vehicle in house and verify the vehicle, vin number, and mileage match and that the vehicle does have a active recall and its within limits to claim and perform. I did speak with your Advisor, Madison Moreno, and she does remember resetting the appointment after she spoke with your husband and ordering the part. I apologize if you feel if the oil change is expensive, I'm not sure where you normally have your oil and filter changed at, but I can assure we are very competitive with other dealerships and have no high markup on any of products. If your vehicle wasn't washed, vacuumed, or washer fluids topped off, well then that is not part of our process and I will see to that issue. As far as the repair and state of your vehicle upon pick up; Madison is our newest advisor and she probably should have mentioned that the recall performed involves removing almost all the seats and the floor. With this being her first recall of this level, she did't have a lot of experience with it and I will ensure that she does learn from this. Normally we would recommend that you remove everything out of your vehicle for this recall, but it certainly isn't necessary to be able to perform it. We won't reattach children's car seats ever if removed due to a liability and safety reason. Unfortunately, it seems that we didn't do a very good job with our communication of procedures or house keeping once the repair was completed. For that I am very sorry and I know that we can do better than that, especially with what is going on in our country right now. I will have a very real conversation with my staff and explain how this is unacceptable. I really do appreciate your feedback and it will greatly help me in identifying issues that need to be addressed. Thank you so much and I do greatly appreciate your time and thoughts. Please stay safe and pray for a speedy recovery for all.
