I was told that I could not buy a vehicle unless purchasing the “Shottebkirk Advantage” which is a $2k insurance policy on your wheels, dents, and windshield. I was told there was no way to remove it and when I pressured the sales manager he told me the car was priced too aggressively to remove that coverage - not pay problem. I then called and spoke with the GSM - Barry. He argued with me on whether or not this was disclosed on their website (it’s not). I asked to speak to the GM and was refused. I asked for a corporate contact number and was hung up on. Apparently - that’s the Shottebkirk Experience. More

Everything was good until I left, then crickets If you are going to purchase from this dealership you better check everything out before you leave. After you leave they are done with you. I was told there was a cover missing off the inside of the car I purchased. I was told by Zach that he would take it off another car before we left. We paid cash for the vehicle, signed the papers, and left the dealership. We stopped to get something to eat about 2 hours later and I remembered the missing cover. I checked and it was not on there. I immediately called Zach on his personal cell phone and he apologized and said he would over night it to us. I said you dont have to over night it, regular mail is fine. He told me that everything gets over nighted. Well 3 or 4 days later I text Zach and said I had not received it yet. Then the next week, I sent multiple texts, and called. No response. He answered every text and phone call while dealing with the car, but once it was paid for I was not thought of again. I drove 6 hours to buy this car from this dealership, I would not recommend this dealership if you are working with Zach. More
Communicated with Mark Leet via text message only after I told them 3 times I will not speak on the phone. I read about people getting there & the price being drastically increased. I told him I wanted a written OTD price & will not buy any maintenance plan nor pay advertising fees nor will I pay for etching. If it's already been on the vehicle ok but not paying for it. He said they typically have addendums for our cars, most dealers do. Saying most clearly means not all which means it's not required by law. I said I will not pay fees not required by law. So I can keep looking, not a problem. Have a great day. He said, have a nice day no longer interested in the sale knowing I was not going to pay miscellaneous BS. Obviously he didn't want the sale. I drove 3 hours to make a deal on a not quite new Toyota Tundra. They added dealership packages for thousands of extra dollars that I did not want. They would not take them off. While waiting on our ride, Michael Daugherty's exact words were "That's the way we do business..."! Don’t waste you time going to this dealership. This was my worst experience at a car dealership in over 40 years. More
