I drive a 2021 4Runner (it is my 5th 4Runner, I LOVE THEM!) and I bought it new. In May I paid for an alignment, and had to take my vehicle back in July because of a "knocking" in my steering column an THEM!) and I bought it new. In May I paid for an alignment, and had to take my vehicle back in July because of a "knocking" in my steering column and the car was still not aligned. I was told something wasn't tightened correctly after the alignment, so they fixed that but noticed I had a leak in my powersteering line. They fixed that, but, when I picked it up my 4 runner was out of balance. When I called to inform it was out of balance they told me to bring it back...picked it up after that visit. Still out of balance and pulling to the right as if it was out of alignment. Which required me to take the vehicle back to the service department when they told me the rack and pinion needed to be replaced. Thank goodness it is still under warranty so I only had to pay a deductible to have the 2 bigger items fixed, but this was 4 trips and multiple days without my car to have issues discovered and fixed. More
Improve service times and a greater variety of vehicles in the Show Room. In general, it is a very good dealer and if my future purchase decision is a Toyota, I would do it there with the greatest pleasure in the Show Room. The service was great and their communication with what was needed was also great. My problem is with the 3% service charge on using your debit card. With all of the money that Toyota makes as a company, was needed was also great. My problem is with the 3% service charge on using your debit card. With all of the money that Toyota makes as a company, it is a wonder why the extra 3% from the vendor the Shottenkirk selected is being passed on to the customer. Shottenkirk should take on that 3% in my opinion. More
The people were great from James to everyone involved (five stars for the staff). Aside from the great people, there could be additional fees based on what diagnostics are needed/wanted and if coming in (five stars for the staff). My advisor wasn’t very helpful and they were rude and unfriendly. After I picked up my car, I reached out to address a couple of issues and they never replied back. They also left items inside of my car, unfriendly. After I picked up my car, I reached out to address a couple of issues and they never replied back. They also left items inside of my car, on my seat which made me upset since I take care of my car and the item was visibly dirty. I am unsure if they even completed the service I brought my car in for, so now I have to take time out of my schedule to take my car to a different location to get it looked at again. Overall the experience wasn’t great, especially compared to my previous experiences at other toyotas. More
