They checked our trade in and tried to tell us that because it needed new tires and had some hail dents, the value went down $4k. Then had the audacity to ask us for $10K down. More

My wife and I bought a new RAV4 from this establishment and boy, did we deal with sleaze. These guys really lived up to the stereotype used car salesmen and sleaze xxxxx we saw in old movies. Below i and boy, did we deal with sleaze. These guys really lived up to the stereotype used car salesmen and sleaze xxxxx we saw in old movies. Below is what I wrote to the general manager when we got what is supposedly 'Executive support' which was nothing more than a message at 6 am on a Sunday morning generated by a robot from a non-working return email address. I am very far from satisfied - things promised and not delivered after numerous requests, things added that should not have been. I have been battling for three days now to get the numbers so I can actually see what I paid for. They refuse to give them to me. I also did not appreciate the attempt by the 'senior' salesman to exert pressure. The whole experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth and I will definitely not be back to Alamo Toyota for any more business after this, my third purchase from (two on one day once) and multiple service stops at your establishment. This is sad since my family has bought six Toyotas over the last few years (two from Alamo, two from Boerne and two from Red McCombs) and we have had very good experience with the product. Instead of some kind of loyalty treatment (even a simple slice of pizza while we were made to sit and wait while they played their stupid little power games -- tiring me out by forcing us to wait with the goal of us just accepting whatever they say, that idiotic little square they draw on a piece of paper to supposedly show me how the number work, endlessly running to the back office). I got what I can only describe as the classical sleazy car dealership experience. Supposedly the whole transaction has been mailed to me at which time I will go over it with a fine tooth comb. The 'team' at the time made very sure I was not able to see or clarify any of it on the day. I will communicate more once I have done that. I did receive the package and, I was correct, there are things on here that should not be and some other questionable practices as well. Dishonesty is back in car buying -- even brand new Toyotas You guys probably did nothing illegal yet but you did make buying a car what it was on used care lots in the 70's again. You pulled the wool over my eyes and made a few bucks, woohoo. Shame on you, nobody wants to be strung along, lied to and played for a fool -- I am referring specifically to that smug finance guy I had to deal with. This guy pulled every trick in the book and then sat there with that idiot smile on his face when I dared ask questions. No transparency, honesty or integrity. It just does not make good business sense. And mr manager, if you are going to ask me to contact you so that you can do something about this, I already did and you ignored me. More

Terrible customer service in the service department. They repaired my drivers seat in July and the problem happened again in December. Spoke with the service writer on the phone and he said to bring it in on repaired my drivers seat in July and the problem happened again in December. Spoke with the service writer on the phone and he said to bring it in on Monday so I did. When I got there another service writer wrote up the problem and said they would look at it and call me that afternoon to update me. Later that day I had not heard anything so I called them only to find out that it was passed over to a different service writer who told me that they would not get to my car because I didn’t have an appointment. Picked up my car an pitched a fit with the service manager who apologized and said he wanted to make it right. He scheduled an appointment for today. When I arrived I was told that they would not be able to get to it today because they were closing at noon and for me to bring it back on Monday. I’m so done with this dealership and will take my business elsewhere. I suggest that if you need repairs- DO NOT take it to Alamo Toyota More
I worked with Pedro Martinez today. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and honest. He took the time to explain the service process, and didn't pressure me to get more work done than I wanted to. Would not buy from here. I found a car on their website and went to look at it. They just got it in and had not serviced it yet so they would not let me test drive it or buy it (understandable) but they l and went to look at it. They just got it in and had not serviced it yet so they would not let me test drive it or buy it (understandable) but they let me put hold money on it so I could come back the next day. Drove all the there just to find out that they sold it to another customer. They put their salesmen against each other and don’t communicate well. I actually have bought from them before and would have again but not now. It was not the salesman’s fault as he had to get approval to do what he did. I don’t know the managers name as they never talked to me. More
