The customer service was horrible, they sold me a bad SUV and then accused me of damaging it when they know it was like that. I had to send an email to Toyota regarding this matter. Also, I had to contact The Texas Office of Consumers before I could get them to repair my SUV. However, the treatment I received from one of the Sales Managers and Sales Representative was very rude, disrespectful and racist. To be told I’m only over to help because none of my other colleagues wanted to deal with this matter and the Sales manager being black and his colleagues are all white was offensive. To have the sales rep. tell you the damage happened at your apartment building and she knew I live in a house is offensive to say the least. Then to be told we can trade it out for aSUV just like what you purchased, only to get there and they not have the same SUV. They tried to put me three different SUV’s that either needed body and interior work or that had twice the mileage of my SUV. I finally was able to take my car in to have it fixed, only for the detail department to leave my back windows down while they washed my SUV. My seats and floor were soaked and I had brand new clothes the back seat that I needed to return to Amazon that got soaked. I let the service rep. know what happened they took care of the water and put my new clothes in their dryer and told me oh they didn’t see the tags on them. And to put the icing on the cake, they mailed my license plates and tags only for them to never show up. When I requested to pick them up. So, I had to take a trip to DPS and purchase new tags and plates. This was the experience I received from Shottenkirk Toyota this Summer. More
I have been waiting for a catalytic converter and muffler assembly since May 9. Many dates have been communicated and then missed. The Toyota inventory system is a total disaster.
