Very professional throughout the process of buying my vehicle from the Shottenkirk lot. All personnel that I came in contact with were quite cordial and professional. This is my fourth Rav-4 the fi vehicle from the Shottenkirk lot. All personnel that I came in contact with were quite cordial and professional. This is my fourth Rav-4 the first I have bought from Toyota of Ft. Worth and three from Jerry Durant/Shottenkirk. I purchased my 2018 Tundra in May took it in for its first service on September 13th, I put less than 5000 miles on it. After the oil change and tire rotation I was informed that it needed front brakes first service on September 13th, I put less than 5000 miles on it. After the oil change and tire rotation I was informed that it needed front brakes and a battery. I asked why none of that was inspected before it was sold. Was not able to provide me with an answer. The truck is burning oil, after spending almost a Thousand dollars on repairs I was told that the burning oil was normal. I might understand if it had 200,000 miles but it doesn’t it has 62.000. The truck has a factory trailer brake control. After pulling a camper back from a trip, guess what didn’t work. Doing some research I found a Toyota form that talked about TSB # 0036 trailer discount issues. Here we go back to the dealer what should have been a safety issue that Toyota knew about and had a fix for cost me another $100. My service advisor Eli Rodriguez’s was sympathetic and said he understood but there was nothing he could do. This is the first Toyota I’ve owned people talk about the reliability which might be true, but this dealership has me thinking otherwise. More
I had my car washed after the planned maintenance and it came out looking much worse than it did when it went in. First off, for third time I've had it washed there it was not dried.
