Took car in for servicing to take advantage of the basic $2000 coverage for dings in windshield/body. They were unable to do much with ding in door and the ding on the windshield was replaced with a black d $2000 coverage for dings in windshield/body. They were unable to do much with ding in door and the ding on the windshield was replaced with a black dot, more distracting then original ding. That said, when we purchased car we found out after deal was consummated that there was only a single key, which we were not very happy about, We brought that to the attention of our service person and they were able to get us another key at no charge which we did appreciate. This was my first visit to Shottenkirk, as we just moved to this side of town. I have owned a Toyota for 4 years and had all of my service work done at several different dealerships. I had 3 different opinions at Shottenkirk on what service my 4 runner needed. You people need to get on the same page. I came home and did did some study. There are two individuals that need to be recognized: Jeff from sales and Garland from service. I was at the Toyota dealership about three times. At no point did Jeff place any pressure on me. Very easy to talk with. With the relaxed atmosphere and the awesome Tacoma, I had to have. Jeff and I worked the numbers, and was approved. The next day , I went to the service department to have the front side windows tinted. Garland approached me, addressed me by my last name. She was expecting me, as Jeff spoke to her, letting her know of the circumstances. I wanted a cover for the bed of the truck, and she already knew as Jeff had told her. Communication been sales and service was above reproach. These two individuals make your competitors look like amateurs. Good experience. Bob Spinder More
