All the folks I dealt with were great, no complaints. However I found the truck I wanted online. I live in Dallas so I wanted to ensure its the truck I wanted, it was. However when we began to work out the financial end, the dealership had over $6k worth of dealer fees (that does not include TTL) on top on the list price that was shown online. I know it listed that there would be other fees, but $6K? You all should be transparent when fees are that much. I still ended up buying the vehicle, mostly because the truck I wanted was very hard to find right now. However, I would not recommend people using this dealership unless they start being more transparent with the "fees" More
I bought a new 2021 Tacoma from Shottenkirk Toyota and was advised that I would receive a 2nd key within a day or two. Called in a week when I hadn't heard back and was told by my sales person Hanna, tha was advised that I would receive a 2nd key within a day or two. Called in a week when I hadn't heard back and was told by my sales person Hanna, that since with was from a different dealership, they had the key and they would mail it to me. I called her again after another week and a half, left a voicemail advising that I still hadn't receive the key. After yet another week, I sent an email to the Manager and copied Hannah on it, stating I was still waiting for the key. I then went into the dealership, spoke to Hanna, who advised me she had been away on family a emergency and hadn't been able to get back me. She then told me she would submit a ticket through the service department to order a second key and would call me on Tuesday, "I promise." Thursday came around with no phone call and I called the GM. I was sent to a Sales Manager who advised me that due to a shortage, 2 keys were not being given on key start Tacoma's and I would receive one when they were once again available. However, the paperwork states, "Toyota would recommend that you advise your F&I Managers to communicate the current situation to all customers upon finalizing the purchase of the vehicle, in the event any concerns or questions are raised during the final paperwork." As you can see, Shottenkirk did none of this!!! All I got was the run around and they got my money. More
