They did not rotate the tires on vehicle because I forgot to give them the tire lock. This is not there fault but as a customer service ..1 They should have looked at the service rep. Really disappointed in my experience. Classic car dealership xx. Saw a car online with a price listed (which seemed fair) and went to take a test drive. I liked it, so wanted to make a deal. I said I would just pay the sticker price and was then told that there was $1,850 in a "Shottenkirk Special" where they wanted money to cover stuff that an extended warranty would cover (which they also tired to sell me), and an additional $1850 for "reconditioning". I had just looked all over that car and you could tell that nothing had been done to it. I asked the sales manager what "reconditioning" had occurred … Couldn't tell me. I told him, that was like going to the grocery store and when you go to check out the cashier then tells you that there was a 20% increase in the cost of goods, because the stock guy had to oil his pallet jack. Am I being unreasonable to think that the price listed online would have already included whatever the dealership had to do it? More
Garland is always there to help me and takes care of all my vehicle needs. She also reminds what to expect at the next service . Polite and courteous at every visit. If memory serves me right I am coming up on 8 years now. They can service your non Toyota brand vehicles too. More
The financed amount was grossly overpriced from the negotiated and agreed upon amount without any documentation provided to support the financed amount. I give my salesman Oscar Black 5 stars but everything after that I would give a negative star if I could! First, I discovered an $1,850 “reconditioning fee” in my paperwork after the sale that I was not after that I would give a negative star if I could! First, I discovered an $1,850 “reconditioning fee” in my paperwork after the sale that I was not told about, which would be ok IF my wiper fluid wasn’t bone dry when I got the truck home, & I had to buy 4 valve stem caps, and my maintenance light wasn’t coming on the very week that I purchased the truck! Then a month later first good rain we had, my driver side wiper fell apart! Called & asked to speak w/ a GM, was told “I will personally hand him this note” well that was 2.5 months ago & no one has called me back to this day!! So, 4 days ago I take my truck in for an oil change, I informed the girl checking me in of my dissatisfaction & she was snarky to me about it saying “I’m sorry you had a problem w/ your salesman” Then says “‘maybe you should’ve called us” told her I DID, and she just blew me off! Get my truck back in 45 minutes from oil change & tire rotation, get out on the hiway that runs in front of the dealership, reach 55mph & my steering wheel starts shaking so I turn around immediately & take it back, same girl looks out the window from her desk, sees me pull up & rolls her eyes & tells someone else to come to me! Then they talk to me like I’m dumb, so I go inside & ask for someone in charge, guy points to the service manager & same girl is in there telling him about me! So, he offers to take a ride w/ me to see what I’m taking about!! He says “oh the tires are probably out of balance” UMMM, THAT’S PART OF A TIRE ROTATION!! At least in every tire shop I’ve ever been to anyway!! This time it takes them an HOUR just to balance my tires! I also posted a bad review on their Facebook page the day I called & asked to speak to a general manager & my wiper fell apart, also to this day NO RESPONSE!! Sad thing is, we were going to buy my husband a new Tundra from this same dealership since it is the closest to our house, needless to say, we got his truck from DALLAS!! They lost a $52,000 sale because of the way I was treated! And on Saturday, we will be taking his truck to Brownwood for his oil change! We do not trust Shottenkirk AT ALL!! Service AFTER the sale is what brings people back, they need to learn that! More
