Purchasing a car is the first or second most expensive thing a normal person gets to purchase in their life time . It is already a bit stressful so dealers should strive to make it the experience easy, si thing a normal person gets to purchase in their life time . It is already a bit stressful so dealers should strive to make it the experience easy, simple and exciting for the customer. Shottenkirk Hyundai failed to provide great customer services instead made my experience miserable. When over going to the estimate for the purchase of the vehicle I pointed out that I had no interest on purchasing the car care product was listed on the estimated , product that they didn’t even offer to me they just added it to the deal. Instead of removing it I was questioned about WHY I didn’t want it. That it is how the next 30-40 minutes when by me having to justified why I didn’t want to purchased it. When I said I didn’t want it the first time that should have been the end of the conversation but instead when I didn’t give in the ended giving me more money for my trade in to keep the product as part of the purchase, which is a very shady way to do business if you asked. Then an hour later I finally got to go into the office to go over the terms of the contract with the finance manager but boy was I wrong. They had already printed the contract and intended for me to signed it without letting me know what the APR on the loan, monthly payment or term will be. Then I had to again argued with them about what rate and payment I wanted and I was comfortable with and they had no interest on being helpful and seem annoyed I was asking questions and asking about offers Hyundai had on their website. It was the worst car buying experience I’ve had. More
