Very average, felt I had to push the process a bit and fact check certain things-push for information. At times I felt they were scrambling, communication between colleagues not good. I felt they made it a little harder than it should be for me to buy a car from them, like I was driving the process forward and they were reacting. They don't seem to like push back or questions, I am a pretty informed buyer. More

I want to bring this matter to everyone's notice that, I have been Shottenkirk Hyundai ( Canton GA) in Jun 4th week. I was looking for Hyundai Santa FE SEL. Negotiated the deal with Sales person, I wanted t have been Shottenkirk Hyundai ( Canton GA) in Jun 4th week. I was looking for Hyundai Santa FE SEL. Negotiated the deal with Sales person, I wanted to trade in my car with CARMAX and payoff to Hyundai, But the sales person insisted to trade it for less price saying " I wonder how CARMAX giving more money, I will talk to CarMax and get the value lower " . Finally we agreed for some deal amount, But during finance process they didn't act fair especially on Hyundai maintenance plan ( 3 years or 36000 miles) . Hiding this matter, they pushed me to go for additional warranty of 6 years Oil change plan by paying almost $80 extra every month with bumper to bumper coverage for 6 years. I have completed the paper work, But i never got the car from them . Vehicle was still in their possession. I have contacted dealer on very next morning and told I can't continue with the deal due to miscellaneous & financial reasons. I tried to call multiple times to reachout to finance team/ Sales team , but no one responded. Later when I spoke to sales person, he mentioned deal can't be cancelled , Since HMF ( Hyundai Motor finance) already funded them. I told them to "FLAT CANCEL THE DEAL". But he told not possible. I have called HMF back and forth multiple departments, HMF mentioned dealer should be able to cancel and UNFUND the financed amount. But dealer never responded on it. Finally logged a complaint against Shottenkirk. But I haven't seen any update on it post that. Couple of days ago, sales person messaged to return my car saying its 'THEIR CAR'. I have told them, I didn't take the car from you, why I have to return my car. I'm getting notifications /letters saying I have to pay Monthly payment . It's strange that, why someone will pay without taking the car. It looks like Dealer just keeping the hold on my financial ability. This became mental tantrum for me.I never faced bitter experience like this with any vendor/dealer. I strongly recommend everyone to be cautious with such specific dealer. More
