It is g We knew what type of car and price range we wanted and Sally Wise did a great job finding the car and finalizing the deal without any hassle. It is great to deal with a professional that is customer focused and not trying to get the "last dollar" to the company bottom line. Sally knows her business, approaches it in a very professional manner, and worked hard to make sure we were completely satisfied. Because of her effort we will be back the next time we are looking for a car and will send our friends her way too. Try Jerry Damson because they work very hard to be a contributing member of the community. And ask for Sally Wise...you'll be glad you did...We were!!! More
While the salesperson was nice, I would use the word unethical at best when describing their business practices. I was looking at a used Mercedes, and took it to the Mercedes dealer for a used car ins unethical at best when describing their business practices. I was looking at a used Mercedes, and took it to the Mercedes dealer for a used car inspection prior to purchasing it. There was almost $5k in repairs found, including the power steering, gear box and the suspension. The sales manager said it appeared Mercedes was "padding the estimate" and offered $1k. I walked away, only to see them drop the price without mentioning problems with the vehicle. If you buy a used car, buyer beware. Shame on you, Jerry Damson Honda! More
I purchased a minivan online from the dealership. I was coming in from out of state to pick it up so I didn’t exactly have the time to perform a full vehicle inspection prior to driving the car off the lot coming in from out of state to pick it up so I didn’t exactly have the time to perform a full vehicle inspection prior to driving the car off the lot. In addition, I didn’t think I had to. There was nothing mentioned in the listing about any issues with the van. Let me be clear about that point: there was nothing mentioned in the listing about any defects. About 30 minutes into driving the van home I noticed the right rear door ajar light was on. I pulled over to close the door but discovered that the right rear sliding door handle was just flopping around loose. The door could not be opened from the outside at all. When I got back home I wrote the salesperson to ask them to fix the door handle. This is the response I got back: “you bought this van as is…we cannot fix anything !!You signed several forms saying as is ..probably not much wrong with the door except the handle clip .. i would recommend a honda store in your area to fix it !” Needless to say, I was not happy with this response so I contacted the General Manager, Mr. Robert Crank. It took a while to get Mr. Crank to return my calls but when he did his response was much the same. He said that I should have found the faulty door handle before I paid for the car and it was my fault. I repeatedly asked him why the broken door handle was not mentioned in the eBay listing. He tried several times to dodge the question and the most I could ever get out of him was “we sell lots of cars on eBay.” He told me I should have tried all the doors and locks and windows before leaving. I asked him what if the issue was in the engine or transmission, how could I have checked for that before leaving? He told me that his response would be the same. The car was sold AS-IS and there was nothing they would do for any issue discovered with the car. We went around and around for a while but eventually he got to the point which was that they would not be helping me fix the door handle. I told him that I would be leaving negative reviews online about my experience and he cut me off and told me “goodbye” right before hanging up the phone on me. More
We came in a few weeks ago unsure of what car we wanted. Mr. Craig was wonderful to work with. Buyer beware! Jerry Damson has the friendliest people of any dealership I have visited. But, I am not there to make friends, I am there to buy a car at a fair price. They are very friendly as they try to pa any dealership I have visited. But, I am not there to make friends, I am there to buy a car at a fair price. They are very friendly as they try to pad the price with all kinds of "buyer protection" products and "fees". If you let your guard down, you may end up paying hundreds if not thousands of dollars more than you should. If you want an extended warranty just buy a Kia or Hyundai, they don't charge hundreds of dollars for it. If you wax your car and scotch guard the seats, your vehicle is protected. There is no need for Damson's pricey "protection package". We've all seen high pressure sales teams. Because we recognize the high pressure approach, most people are on their guard during the purchase process. I expect dealers to try and pad the price. But, Jerry Damson is by far the WORST dealership I have seen for trying to sell you these overpriced extras. If you are not careful, you will pay MUCH more for the car than you should. Remember, you are there to buy a car, not make friends. More
Ann Lawrence did a great job of working to keep our sale. They were responive and quick to get in touch with us. We went through the internet and that was also a good experience with this dealer. I have bought several cars from this dealership. After dealing with the same salesman for all the vehicles, I doubt I will be going back after my last experience. The salesman is always difficult to reac dealing with the same salesman for all the vehicles, I doubt I will be going back after my last experience. The salesman is always difficult to reach. He did not fulfill reasonable requests. I found a better price out of town but chose to continue to deal with Damson since it was local. The first two experiences with Damson were great. I'm not sure what has happened and most likely will not be going back to find out. More
