However, I must say that University Honda was outstanding in providing a positive experience. I appreciated that they cut to the chase and provided documentation that stated how prices were compared to other dealers. They actually down-sell some of the add on's that were not necessary! I walked away knowing that I received the best deal possible. I also loved the fact that University Honda is a small family owned dealership. They actually close at 7:00 PM on Saturday to allow their staff to enjoy and spend time with their families (who does that!!!). I feel like I am part of their family and trust them to provide quality service for years to come. I will be referring them to others. Thank you University Honda More

Fast, professional, no xx I was visiting someone in the area when a service light came on. I decided to get it taken care of at the University Honda site. Everything went smoot I was visiting someone in the area when a service light came on. I decided to get it taken care of at the University Honda site. Everything went smoothly and quickly, and-although I was advised to get new tires in the near future-no products or other services were pushed on me. I was told that they would be happy to help with the tires, if I was interested then or in the future but was not pressured to commit at the time. I appreciated that and the fast and professional service. Thanks! More
Always took care of me fairly For the last 6+? years I went to University Honda with my old 1998 Accord, which was purchased used from a friend and had several previous owners. Ove For the last 6+? years I went to University Honda with my old 1998 Accord, which was purchased used from a friend and had several previous owners. Over the life of the car, I had a variety of service work done there, major to minor and was always treated fairly and courteously (which surprisingly is not always common in world of auto repair). More importantly, the work was never unnecessary, savings alternatives were always presented when possible (which was often), and the work held up. I took the car from 230k to 318k before the transmission finally gave up and the car was no longer worth repairing (due to body wear and tear, and other factors, like damage during attempted theft). I know enough about cars to know exactly what was happening and being proposed during repairs, and I never detected anything but honesty in my dealings there. Perhaps I could have saved some on labor somewhere else; but again, knowing what was involved and simply not having the tools or place to do my own work, I felt that having mechanics who dealt with Hondas day in and out would make the labor efficient and thus overall, affordable. Currently, I take my "new" used car (2005 civic) there. I actually choose this car over another enticing alternative because I knew I could get fair, reliable, friendly service for it. When an emergency popped up, they diagnosed and delivered on my expectations. Finding great service for your car is tough but I would absolutely recommend University Honda. They don't pad and they double check. More

All maintenance for this car has been performed by this service department under the guidance of Tom Edwards and most recently Jennifer Conrad. Over the years, I've been totally satisfied with the friendly atmosphere, and most importantly, the quality of work performed. I've always appreciated the timeline of service completed, the straight forward review and recommendations. Both Tom and Jennifer are terrific examples of a fine dealership. Kevin More

Forget CUSTOMER SERVICE, WE ONLY WANT MONEY I recently went to University Honda to look for the new Honda Pilot Touring addition. We went in, they told us that due to the high demand in the Pilo I recently went to University Honda to look for the new Honda Pilot Touring addition. We went in, they told us that due to the high demand in the Pilot, it would take a few months to get the White one that I wanted. I was perfectly fine with that because I wanted to gather all my funds together since I was paying CASH. They said ok, put us on a wait list & advised us they would call when it was here. They ended up getting a dark grey one within a week of our original visit. We came in to take a look at the Touring anyway. We liked it very much but advised them that since our money was coming from an IRA account, it would take a week to gather the funds. I told them that I could wait to pick up the car until but they all stated, no it's fine...please take the car now. I was able to gather $25,000 immediately & the rest would have to wait till Friday 06/03/2016. The finance manager said that shouldn't be a problem. I recieved a call less than an hour later stating that the manger wanted us to apply for credit through a lender so they could get their $28,000 & we could pay the lender. I stated that I was not interested in paying interest to a lender since we are paying cash & I have the money but needs to transfer to a regular bank account. I was extremely upset that they had pushed us to take it knowing the situation before hand & now foricing us to return the car until the full funds were available after I was told numerous times it was ok to do it this way. I understand that they are a business & they have employees, parts, etc to pay but I telling someone that they just want their money now & showing no courtesy is not ok. It is a family owned business & I believe that treating people the way we were treating was completely unethical. I have already sent a complaint to Honda Corporate. THE HONDA PILOT IS AMAZING & THIS POST SHOULD NOT & DOES NOT CHANGE THAT but the service we recieved from University Honda in Davis, CA needs to be addressed. More
