The sales experience was a breeze but don’t expect much after that. We purchased a used truck from there on 10/8. 9 days later we discovered it was leaking coolant. We dropped it off at the dealership on 1 after that. We purchased a used truck from there on 10/8. 9 days later we discovered it was leaking coolant. We dropped it off at the dealership on 10/12 only to get a phone call a few days later saying it’ll cost us $4k to fix. When we purchased the vehicle we were told it went through an over 100 point inspection and we were required to purchase the Shottenkirk Customer Care package. Even with those two things the dealership said it wasn’t their problem and we had to pay for the repairs. Finally after some back and forth the dealership was able to get the “warranty” to cover it, even though they said the warranty doesn’t take effect until one month after the purchase. What?! That was never mentioned in the sale! It’s been 23 days since we dropped our vehicle off and we still don’t have it back. Nor do we have the jack that our sales rep (Joey) and sales manager (Brock and Doyle) promised us. We were also promised an oil change and pricing for better warranties. Nothing has been received. I have called and left multiple voicemails asking the status and can’t get anyone to return a phone call. We purchased our vehicle from a dealership in hopes to not have to deal with issues like this. We are now regretting this decision and will never purchase a Shottenkirk vehicle ever again. We will also be talking our family and friends to stay away. More
