Had an appointment at 1:00 pm to have a minor repair on my vehicle. When I arrived, I was told that it may take 24 hours to be repaired. REALLY???? 24 hours to fix a rattle!!! Why would I need an appoin my vehicle. When I arrived, I was told that it may take 24 hours to be repaired. REALLY???? 24 hours to fix a rattle!!! Why would I need an appointment to have them find and fix an interior rattle? Ok, so I left the car to be repaired thinking I would hear from them by the next day. Called around 2:00 to get an update and the call went to voicemail. Called again around 2:30. Again, got a voicemail and I left a message for call back. Called again about 4:00 and once again got a voicemail. I decided to call the main service line and they just connected me again to the service writer (Steven Thorpe) and I got the voice mail again! Finally called the main line again and explained that I am trying to get an update on my vehicle that was supposed to be done by 1:00 pm. I finally got a service person to speak to me and was told they haven't looked at it!!!! He claimed that it would get done and they will call us when it is ready. In about 20 min. I got the call that it was done! IT ONLY TOOK 20 MINUTES AND THEY HAD MY CAR FOR OVER 24 HOURS!!!!! Funny how I never got a call or a call back after leaving a voice mail message for an update on the service, but I got FOUR calls from a Shottenkirk representative wanting to purchase my car due to the high demand for cars!!!! Needless to say, I am not impressed with the service department. I would not be near as upset if I did not have an appointment (whats the point for appointments if they cannot be prepared to even look at the car on the day you make the appointment?). Also, how hard is it to keep the customer updated with the progress, even if the work takes a little longer than anticipated? I am usually very patient and understanding. However, the lack of customer service was very disappointing. By the way, could it be that I am a female, and I was being taken advantage of???? More
STAY FAR AWAY. Worst excuse of customer service ever. Absolutely NO regard for their customers once they get that sale and lock you into a service plan. I bought a brand new 2020 Ram last year, got all the packages that included service, dent repairs, oil changes etc. and pay for it every month… EVERY time I walk into that place for service I’m waiting at least 30 minutes in line to even be acknowledged and checked in. This is the 3rd time, THIRD TIME, that they had me make an appointment for a drop off service first thing in the morning only to be called LATER THAT AFTERNOON saying “oh, that guy is not here today.” THEN WHY DID YOU MAKE THE APPOINTMENT?! The first time the guy was on vacation and they didn’t know it, never got a call back to reschedule, finally got another appointment for a month later only to be told he wasn’t there again and that I had to come back. Today, I arrived on time for my SCHEDULED BY THEM appointment, Steven Thorp, a service adviser, looked me in the eyes and told me he was there today because I had expressed my prior experience with them and wanted to make sure I wasn’t wasting my time again. (Mind you he was the same guy who incorrectly scheduled me the first time) This was at 8am, My husband got a voicemail from a Brett at 2pm saying “oh the dent guy is not in on Monday’s so your vehicle cannot get done until Friday!!” THEN WHY DID YOU EVEN SCHEDULE ME?!?!?! Brett checked me in, saw me struggling to unload 2 child car seats, I had to get a ride to a rental car place because for some reason they don’t even offer loaner vehicles while your car is being repaired anymore, and I had to drop my kids off and get to work. Enterprise isn’t even allowed to come on their property to pick you up anymore due to some falling out with shottenkirk too! (Learned that the hard way) I told them I was late to work because they couldn’t figure out where their shuttle guy was, and an hour later ALL OF THEM still had the audacity to not even let me know BEFORE I LEFT MY ONLY VEHICLE IN THEIR HANDS that they couldn’t do it. Bunch of nonsense, they don’t know what they are doing!! THREE TIMES of being late to work, finding childcare, rearranging schedules, and spending MY OWN MONEY on a rental car in order to be able to function, only to be disappointed. Time wasted and extra money gone once again. Talk about frustrated, I can’t even to begin how furious I am. I wish we would've never bought our truck from #shottenkirkdodge the worst. Oh, and currently still “waiting” on a callback from a manager after being transferred around 12 times on the phone because no one ever picks it up. Good Luck, after this I will no longer be using them and word travels fast… More
