He and his entire service team are friendly to work with and are not afraid to tell you point blank what needs to be done. Michael at one point told me to get into his services immediately to fix the issue before it was worse. When was the last time you had someone other than a family doctor tell you come in now? Never had I had that happen to me....Other than the Commanding General on base haha. Everyone makes you feel like your part of the family, and you can skip the Sunday dinners too. They even have loaners if needed. How great is that to know your are taken care of there too. Too bad they aren't open on Sundays like Las Vegas was when on vacation but that is Vegas open 24/7. No these guys need to have family time too. Maybe in the next life they will have space ships like the Jetsons. Now I'm just being silly or am I? Thank you to the whole Shottenkirk team!!!! Not sure if this will be read or not. PS: Update the Employees names and photo's for "RATE THE PEOPLE YOU WORKED WITH". More

I would recommend this dealership for new car sales only. The reason is because the sales department is awesome, attentive, and will take care of you however much they can through the whole process. If it The reason is because the sales department is awesome, attentive, and will take care of you however much they can through the whole process. If it were based on them alone, this dealership would receive 5 stars from me. The recon department is where they struggle heavily. I bought a used ford focus ST originally from the dealership, but they needed to keep the car a bit longer to replace some warped brake rotors that apparently were supposed to have already been done, but weren’t. It took them a whole 2 and half weeks or so to do that simple job, and probably would have taken longer had I not called and asked multiple times about my car. Then once I got the car back, they overtightened the lug nuts to the wheels and didnt do it in the correct order, so it caused a lot of vibration. I had to loosen the lugs and re-tighten them and then it drove much smoother. The driver side lugs were so over-tightened however, that the lugs got rounded off and I had to take it back to have them remove the lugs and put new ones on. Not only that, but any time a brake job like rotors is done, you should always check the slide bolt for the caliper and grease it to make sure it doesnt stick, which was something else they apparently missed, because my calipers were seized and caused the new rotors to also become warped within just a few months of daily driving. That was the first and second, failed interactions. I kept the Focus for a few months and was already experiencing major issues (Ford, go figure) and traded it in for a used Lexus is350. Again, the car was sold to me in a less-than-ready condition. Even on the test drive, I had the salesman feel the steering wheel, to which he agreed he could feel constant vibration even on smooth roadway. Upon closer inspection when I got home, I could visibly see and feel where the inner control arm bushing on the passenger side was torn and has a piece buldging out like a tab. I take it in to have the recon department fix it and also mentioned the definite ball joint sounds i could hear going over speed bumps. I’ve had quite a few cars in my life and had ball joint problems more than once, so Im familiar with sound and the driving characteristics. This time, they have my car for 3 and a half weeks and again, only when I called to ask about it, did they suddenly say the car is ready, but they were unable to find any issues with the balljoints or bushings. There was also a tear in the back seat that they needed to fix, so they did at least complete that task and topped off my coolant and checked for any leaks, but my main concern with the vehicle was not fixed, which is disappointing. I knew that with it being a Lexus, it still rides rather smoothly and it insulates from outside noise well, so that they might have a problem hearing the ball joint noises unless its really quiet and they have really rough road or speed bumps to go over, but the inner control arm bushing on the passenger side was extremely easy to detect, because the driver side was not the same and was still in tact. All this said, it seems to me that their recon department is definitely their weakest link and they are not timely or communicative at all, nor does it appear that they actually know what they’re doing from having missed easy diagnoses and made rookie mistakes. If you intend to buy a new vehicle, the Shottenkirk dealerships (there’s 3 of them all right next to each other) are all very friendly and helpful sales people. However unfortunately, they all use the same reconditioning department and all of their used vehicles go through the reconditioning department before being sold, thus, i would NOT recommend any of them for used vehicles. Just to be clear, their service department is not the same as the reconditioning department. I havent had many interactions with the service department but they do seem to also be friendly and timely. More
