They only want your money!!!I bought a used vehicle They only want your money!!! I bought a used vehicle from Shottenkirk Chevrolet. Although it was an “As-Is” purchase, you would think that a big de They only want your money!!! I bought a used vehicle from Shottenkirk Chevrolet. Although it was an “As-Is” purchase, you would think that a big dealer such as this would take the time to do a thorough inspection before they sell it. Not the case! I had to purchase a spare tire and the cover for it. Not a big deal. However, after a couple of weeks, I took it to another dealer (for the make of the car) to have the air conditioner checked out and upon the mechanic’s thorough inspection, they found that the transaxle is leaking and the transmission is also leaking!!! Easy fix, right? No! The transmission on this vehicle is a closed system and you cannot add more transmission fluid. It requires a full replacement which cost twice than what I paid for the vehicle. I went back to Shottenkirk to ask them if there is anything they can do! The manager I spoke with said no, I bought it “As-Is” They were not willing to help at all! He even told me they only do a quick safety inspection! Therefore, I don’t recommend this dealer AT ALL!!! If you have no other choice, then any used vehicle that you plan to purchase from this dealer should be taken to a reputable mechanic for a full inspection before you purchase it!!! More
