Decent experience initially. Then about a month after getting my Jeep compass it wouldn't start. I took it in and apparently there was an issue with the computer needing updated. Then about a month after getting my Jeep compass it wouldn't start. I took it in and apparently there was an issue with the computer needing updated. Since then I've had to take it in about a half a dozen times. All because it wouldn't start. Few times back I was told it was a battery sensor (that shouldn't have been an issue due to the relative newness of the vehicle). Last Wednesday it went out on me again. AAA came and jumped it, showing me that my battery was basically dead. I called Shivelys and gave them the heads up that my battery was probably dead. I took it in and the next day I was told it wasn't my battery. I eventually got a call saying I could come pick it up and that I wouldn't be charged the $125 fee (that I'd never been charged before, mind you). I go to pick it up and when I go to grab my keys I'm told that they can't give me the keys until I pay the bill. I ask why and for an explanation then tell them I'm taking my bookbag out to my Jeep because I had my main keys and I could just leave if I wanted to. I come back in and go to the cashier and ask for my keys. I'm told the other girl is talking to some guy about it. I walk over and ask for my keys, saying that I'd never been charged before either. The guy finally tells the girl to just give me my keys then tells me to get out of the store because he's not going to be "threatened". The most I said was "Don't take my Jeep either." And I said this because it seemed almost too good to be true that I was just being handed my keys without paying. He told me to call back the next day to discuss the bill with a sales manager. I did so multiple times and finally got to talk to someone. He essentially told me he's not sure why I was told those instructions, but that we were square and I didn't owe any money. The guy that told me that was extremely disrespectful. I've had to take my Jeep in multiple times with no explanation for the issues on numerous of those trips. Avoid them. More
